Mae'r diwedd yn dod!
1Dyma'r Arglwydd yn dweud wrtho i: 2“Ddyn, dyma mae'r Arglwydd, y Meistr, yn ei ddweud wrth Israel: Mae'r diwedd yn dod! Mae'r diwedd yn dod ar y wlad gyfan! 3Dw i wedi digio go iawn. Dw i'n mynd i'ch cosbi chi am y ffordd dych chi wedi ymddwyn. Dw i'n mynd i'ch galw chi i gyfri am yr holl bethau ffiaidd dych chi wedi eu gwneud. 4Fydd yna ddim trugaredd i chi! Dw i'n mynd i'ch galw chi i gyfri am eich ymddygiad, a bydd rhaid i chi wynebu canlyniadau y pethau ffiaidd wnaethoch chi. Byddwch chi'n deall wedyn mai fi ydy'r Arglwydd. 5“Dyma mae'r Arglwydd, y Meistr, yn ei ddweud: Mae yna drychineb ofnadwy yn dod, un heb ei thebyg. 6Mae'r diwedd yn dod! Mae'n dod go iawn! Mae hi ar ben arnoch chi! 7Mae'r farn yn dod ar bawb sy'n byw yn y wlad yma! Mae hi ar ben! Mae'r diwrnod mawr yn agos! Bydd sŵn pobl yn gweiddi mewn panig ar y mynyddoedd yn lle sŵn pobl yn dathlu ac yn cael hwyl. 8Dw i'n mynd i dywallt fy llid arnoch chi nawr. Cewch weld gymaint dw i wedi gwylltio. Dw i'n mynd i'ch cosbi chi am y ffordd dych chi wedi ymddwyn. Dw i'n mynd i'ch galw chi i gyfri am yr holl bethau ffiaidd dych chi wedi eu gwneud. 9Fydd yna ddim trugaredd! Dw i'n mynd i'ch galw chi i gyfri am eich ymddygiad, a bydd rhaid i chi wynebu canlyniadau y pethau ffiaidd wnaethoch chi. Byddwch chi'n deall wedyn mai fi, yr Arglwydd, sydd wedi'ch taro chi. 10“Edrychwch! Y diwrnod mawr! Mae'r farn ar ei ffordd! Mae anghyfiawnder a drygioni wedi blodeuo! 11Mae trais wedi troi'n wialen i gosbi drygioni. Fydd neb ar ôl – neb o'r werin, neb o'r cyfoethog, neb o'r pwysigion. 12Mae'n amser! Mae'r diwrnod wedi dod! Fydd y prynwr ddim yn dathlu, na'r gwerthwr yn drist. Mae Duw wedi digio gyda pawb. 13Fydd y gwerthwr ddim yn cael yr eiddo'n ôl. Mae beth mae Duw wedi ei ddweud yn mynd i ddigwydd. Bydd pawb yn cael eu cosbi am eu pechod. 14“Mae'r utgorn yn galw pawb i fod yn barod, ond does dim ymateb a does neb yn paratoi i ymladd. Mae fy nigofaint i wedi eu parlysu nhw. 15Mae cleddyfau'r gelyn yn barod y tu allan i waliau'r ddinas. Mae haint a newyn yn disgwyl amdanyn nhw y tu mewn. Bydd pwy bynnag sydd yng nghefn gwlad yn cael ei ladd gan y cleddyf, a bydd pawb yn y ddinas yn marw o newyn a haint. 16Bydd y rhai sy'n dianc yn rhedeg i'r mynyddoedd. Byddan nhw fel colomennod yn cŵan wrth alaru am eu pechodau. 17Fydd pobl ddim yn gwybod beth i'w wneud, a byddan nhw'n gwlychu eu hunain mewn ofn. 18Byddan nhw'n gwisgo sachliain, ac yn crynu mewn ofn. Bydd y cywilydd i'w weld ar eu hwynebau, a byddan nhw wedi siafio eu pennau. 19“Fydd aur ac arian yn golygu dim iddyn nhw. Bydd fel sbwriel ar y stryd. Fydd eu cyfoeth ddim yn eu hachub nhw ar y diwrnod pan fydd yr Arglwydd yn barnu! A fyddan nhw ddim yn gallu prynu bwyd gydag e. Eu harian nhw wnaeth eu baglu nhw a'u harwain nhw i bechu! 20Roedden nhw wedi defnyddio eu tlysau hardd i wneud delwau ffiaidd – duwiau da i ddim. Ond bydd y cwbl fel sbwriel afiach. 21Bydda i'n ei roi yn ysbail i bobl o wledydd eraill. Bydd paganiaid drwg yn ei gymryd ac yn poeri arno. 22Bydda i'n edrych i ffwrdd tra maen nhw'n treisio fy nheml i. Bydd fandaliaid yn dod i mewn i'r ddinas, yn ei threisio 23ac yn creu hafoc llwyr. (Bydd hyn i gyd yn digwydd o achos y tywallt gwaed ofnadwy sy'n y wlad a'r creulondeb sydd yn y ddinas.) 24Bydd y wlad waethaf un yn dod ac yn cymryd eu tai nhw. Bydda i'n rhoi taw ar eu holl falchder ac yn dinistrio'r holl leoedd cysegredig sydd ganddyn nhw. 25Byddan nhw wedi eu parlysu! Byddan nhw'n ysu am heddwch, ond yn cael dim. 26Bydd un drychineb ar ôl y llall, a dim byd ond newyddion drwg. Fydd gan y proffwydi ddim gweledigaeth i'w gynnig. Fydd yr offeiriaid ddim yn gallu rhoi arweiniad o'r Gyfraith, a fydd yr arweinwyr gwleidyddol ddim yn gwybod beth i'w ddweud. 27Bydd y brenin yn gwisgo dillad galar, a bydd y bobl gyffredin mewn sioc. Bydda i'n delio gyda nhw am y ffordd maen nhw wedi bod yn byw, ac yn eu trin nhw fel roedden nhw wedi trin pobl eraill. Byddan nhw'n deall wedyn mai fi ydy'r Arglwydd!”

How do I do a word study?

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
