‏ Mark 8:27-29

Ang Pahayag ni Pedro tungkol kay Jesus

(Mat. 16:13-20; Luc. 9:18-21)

27Pagkatapos, pumunta si Jesus at ang mga tagasunod niya sa mga nayon na sakop ng Cesarea Filipos. Habang naglalakad sila, tinanong ni Jesus ang mga tagasunod niya, “Sino raw ako ayon sa mga tao?” 28Sumagot sila, “May mga nagsasabing kayo po si Juan na tagapagbautismo. May nagsasabi ring kayo si Elias. At ang iba namaʼy nagsasabing isa po kayo sa mga propeta.” 29Tinanong sila ni Jesus, “Pero para sa inyo, sino ako?” Sumagot si Pedro, “Kayo po ang Cristo!” ▼
▼Cristo: Ang ibig sabihin, haring pinili ng Dios.
