น้ำมันและขนมปังเบื้องพระพักตร์องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้า

(อพย.27:20-21)

1 องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าตรัสกับโมเสสว่า 2“จงสั่งประชากรอิสราเอลให้นำน้ำมันบริสุทธิ์สกัดจากมะกอกมาเพื่อเติมตะเกียงให้ลุกอยู่เสมอ 3ให้อาโรนคอยดูแลคันประทีปต่อหน้าองค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าซึ่งอยู่นอกม่านที่กั้นหีบพันธสัญญาในเต็นท์นัดพบ ให้ลุกอยู่เสมอตั้งแต่เย็นจนกระทั่งเช้า นี่เป็นข้อปฏิบัติถาวรสืบไปทุกชั่วอายุ
