Chúa Giê-xu Chữa Người Bại
1Chúa Giê-xu xuống thuyền vượt biển về thành Ca-bê-na-um là nơi Ngài thường cư trú. 2Người ta mang đến một người bại nằm trên đệm. Thấy đức tin của họ, Chúa Giê-xu phán người bại: “Hãy vững lòng, hỡi con! Tội lỗi con đã được tha rồi!” 3Mấy thầy dạy luật nghĩ thầm: “Ông này phạm thượng quá! Không lẽ ông tự cho mình là Đức Chúa Trời sao?” 4Chúa Giê-xu đọc được ý tưởng họ, liền hỏi: “Sao các ông nghĩ như thế? 5Trong hai cách nói: ‘Tội lỗi con đã được tha’ hoặc ‘Hãy đứng dậy và bước đi,’ cách nào dễ hơn? 6Để các ông biết Con Người ở trần gian có quyền tha tội, Ta sẽ chữa lành người bại này.” Chúa Giê-xu quay lại phán cùng người bại: “Con đứng dậy! Đem đệm về nhà!” 7Người bại liền vùng dậy và đi về nhà. 8Dân chúng thấy việc xảy ra đều kinh sợ. Họ ca ngợi Đức Chúa Trời đã ban quyền năng phi thường cho loài người.Chúa Giê-xu Gọi Ma-thi-ơ
9Trên đường đi, Chúa Giê-xu thấy Ma-thi-ơ đang làm việc tại sở thu thuế. Chúa gọi: “Con hãy theo Ta!” Ma-thi-ơ liền đứng dậy theo Ngài. 10Chúa Giê-xu và các môn đệ ăn tối tại nhà Ma-thi-ơ. Có nhiều người thu thuế và người mang tiếng xấu trong xã hội ngồi ăn chung với Chúa. 11Mấy thầy Pha-ri-si bất bình, đến chất vấn các môn đệ Ngài: “Sao Thầy các anh ngồi ăn với hạng người xấu xa đó?” 12Chúa Giê-xu nghe điều đó, Ngài đáp: “Vì người bệnh mới cần y sĩ, chứ người khỏe mạnh không cần!” 13Ngài tiếp: “Thôi, các ông cứ đi và học ý nghĩa câu Thánh Kinh này: ‘Ta chẳng muốn sinh tế, lễ vật, Ta chỉ muốn lòng nhân từ.’ ▼ Vì Ta đến trần gian không phải để gọi người thánh thiện, nhưng để kêu gọi người có tội.”Thảo Luận về Kiêng Ăn
14Một hôm, các môn đệ của Giăng Báp-tít đến hỏi Chúa Giê-xu: “Tại sao môn đệ của Thầy không kiêng ăn, còn chúng tôi và các thầy Pha-ri-si đều phải kiêng ăn?” 15Chúa Giê-xu đáp: “Bạn chàng rể có buồn rầu kiêng ăn trong ngày cưới không? Chỉ khi nào chàng rể đi, họ mới không thiết gì đến ăn uống nữa. 16Không ai vá miếng vải mới vào áo cũ, vì miếng vá sẽ toạc ra, đường rách càng rộng hơn. 17Cũng không ai đổ rượu mới vào bầu da cũ, vì bầu da sẽ nứt, rượu chảy hết, mà bầu cũng không dùng được nữa. Muốn giữ cho lâu dài, rượu mới phải đổ vào bầu mới.”Chúa Giê-xu Chữa Lành Vì Đức Tin
18Chúa Giê-xu đang giảng dạy, viên quản lý hội đường Do Thái đến quỳ lạy trước mặt Ngài, thưa: “Con gái tôi vừa chết! Xin Thầy đến đặt tay trên mình nó, cho nó sống lại.” 19Chúa Giê-xu và các môn đệ đến nhà viên quản lý. 20Một người phụ nữ mắc bệnh rong huyết đã mười hai năm đi theo sau, sờ trôn áo Chúa, 21vì bà nghĩ: “Chỉ sờ áo Chúa là ta lành bệnh!” 22Chúa Giê-xu quay lại nhìn thấy bà liền bảo: “Con gái Ta ơi, con cứ mạnh dạn! Đức tin của con đã chữa cho con lành.” Ngay lúc ấy, bà được lành bệnh. 23Khi Chúa Giê-xu vào nhà viên quản lý hội đường, Ngài nhìn thấy dân chúng tụ tập huyên náo và nghe nhạc tang lễ. 24Chúa phán: “Đi chỗ khác! Em bé chỉ ngủ chứ không chết đâu!” Nhưng họ quay lại chế nhạo Ngài. 25Khi đám đông đi khỏi, Chúa Giê-xu vào bên giường đứa bé, nắm tay nó. Nó liền đứng dậy, lành mạnh như thường. 26Tin ấy được loan truyền khắp nơi.Chúa Giê-xu Chữa Lành Người Khiếm Thị
27Chúa Giê-xu đang đi, hai người khiếm thị theo sau, kêu xin: “Lạy Con Vua Đa-vít, xin thương xót chúng con!” 28Khi Chúa vào nhà, họ cũng theo vào. Chúa Giê-xu hỏi: “Các con tin Ta có quyền chữa lành cho các con không?” Họ đáp: “Thưa Chúa, chúng con tin!” 29Chúa sờ mắt hai người, rồi bảo: “Theo đức tin các con, mắt các con phải được lành!” 30Lập tức mắt hai người thấy rõ, Chúa phán họ không được nói cho ai biết, 31nhưng vừa ra khỏi nhà, họ đồn Danh Chúa khắp nơi. 32Họ vừa đi khỏi, người ta mang đến cho Chúa một người câm bị quỷ ám. 33Chúa đuổi quỷ, người câm liền nói được. Dân chúng kinh ngạc bảo nhau: “Đây là việc dị thường, chưa từng thấy trong Ít-ra-ên!” 34Nhưng các thầy Pha-ri-si bình phẩm: “Ông ấy dùng quyền của quỷ vương mà trừ quỷ.”Lòng Thương Vô Hạn
35Chúa Giê-xu đi khắp các thành phố, làng mạc trong vùng, giảng dạy trong các hội đường, công bố Tin Mừng Nước Trời. Đến nơi nào, Ngài cũng chữa lành mọi bệnh tật. 36Thấy đoàn dân đông đảo, Chúa động lòng thương xót vì họ yếu đuối khốn khổ, tản lạc bơ vơ chẳng khác đàn chiên không có người chăn. 37Chúa phán cùng các môn đệ: “Mùa gặt thật trúng, song thợ gặt quá ít. 38Các con hãy cầu xin Chủ mùa gặt đưa thêm nhiều thợ gặt vào đồng lúa của Ngài!”

How do I do a word study?

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
