Cyfarwyddiadau Dafydd i Solomon
1Dyma Dafydd yn galw swyddogion Israel i gyd at ei gilydd i Jerwsalem – arweinwyr y llwythau, swyddogion unedau'r fyddin, capteiniaid unedau o fil ac o gant, y swyddogion oedd yn gyfrifol am eiddo ac anifeiliaid y brenin a'i feibion, swyddogion y palas, y milwyr, a'r arwyr milwrol i gyd. 2Dyma'r Brenin Dafydd yn codi ar ei draed a dweud: “Fy mrodyr a'm pobl, gwrandwch. Roeddwn i wir eisiau adeiladu teml lle gellid gosod Arch Ymrwymiad yr Arglwydd fel stôl droed i'n Duw. Dw i wedi gwneud y paratoadau ar gyfer ei hadeiladu. 3Ond dyma Duw yn dweud wrtho i, ‘Gei di ddim adeiladu teml i'm hanrhydeddu i, am dy fod ti'n ryfelwr, ac wedi lladd lot o bobl.’ 4“Yr Arglwydd, Duw Israel, ddewisodd fi o deulu fy nhad i fod yn frenin ar Israel am byth. Roedd wedi dewis llwyth Jwda i arwain, a teulu fy nhad o fewn Jwda, ac yna dewisodd fi o blith fy mrodyr, a'm gwneud i yn frenin ar Israel gyfan. 5Ac o'r holl feibion mae'r Arglwydd wedi eu rhoi i mi, mae wedi dewis Solomon i fod yn frenin ar fy ôl, i deyrnasu ar ei ran. 6Dwedodd wrtho i, ‘Dy fab Solomon ydy'r un fydd yn adeiladu teml i mi, a'r iardiau o'i chwmpas. Dw i wedi ei ddewis e i fod yn fab i mi, a bydda i'n dad iddo fe. 7Bydda i'n sefydlu ei deyrnas am byth, os bydd e'n dal ati i gadw fy ngorchmynion a'm rheolau i, fel rwyt ti'n gwneud.’ 8Felly, o flaen Israel gyfan, cynulliad pobl yr Arglwydd, a Duw ei hun yn dyst, dw i'n dweud: Gwnewch yn siŵr eich bod chi'n cadw gorchmynion yr Arglwydd eich Duw, i chi feddiannu'r wlad dda yma, a'i gadael hi'n etifeddiaeth i'ch plant am byth. 9“A tithau, Solomon fy mab, gwna'n siŵr dy fod yn nabod Duw dy dad. Rho dy hun yn llwyr i'w addoli a'i wasanaethu yn frwd. Mae'r Arglwydd yn gwybod beth sy'n mynd trwy feddwl pawb, ac yn gwybod pam maen nhw'n gwneud pethau. Os byddi di'n ceisio'r Arglwydd go iawn, bydd e'n gadael i ti ddod o hyd iddo. Ond os byddi di'n troi cefn arno, bydd e'n dy wrthod di am byth. 10Mae'r Arglwydd wedi dy ddewis di i adeiladu teml yn gysegr iddo. Felly bydd yn gryf a bwrw iddi!” 11Dyma Dafydd yn rhoi'r cynlluniau ar gyfer y deml i'w fab Solomon – cynlluniau'r cyntedd, yr adeiladau, y trysordai, y lloriau uchaf, yr ystafelloedd mewnol, a'r cysegr lle roedd caead yr Arch. 12Rhoddodd gynlluniau popeth oedd e wedi ei ddychmygu am iard y deml, yr ystafelloedd o'i chwmpas, stordai teml Dduw a'r stordai lle roedd y rhoddion wedi eu cysegru i Dduw yn cael eu cadw. 13Rhoddodd y cyfarwyddiadau ar gyfer y gwahanol grwpiau o offeiriaid a Lefiaid iddo, y gwahanol gyfrifoldebau a'r offer oedd i gael eu defnyddio wrth iddyn nhw wasanaethu yn nheml yr Arglwydd. 14Rhoddodd iddo restr o faint yn union o aur ac arian oedd i gael ei ddefnyddio i wneud y gwahanol eitemau a llestri fyddai'n cael eu defnyddio yn yr addoliad – 15y menora aur a'r lampau oedd arni, y rhai arian a'r lampau oedd arnyn nhw (roedd pob manylyn yn cael ei bwyso); 16yr aur ar gyfer y byrddau lle roedd y bara'n cael ei osod yn bentwr (faint o aur oedd i'w ddefnyddio i wneud pob un, a faint o arian oedd i'w ddefnyddio i wneud y byrddau arian); 17a'r aur pur oedd i gael ei ddefnyddio i wneud y ffyrc, y dysglau a'r jygiau, y powlenni bach aur a'r powlenni bach arian (union bwysau pob un), 18a'r aur wedi ei buro ar gyfer gwneud allor yr arogldarth. Rhoddodd iddo'r cynllun ar gyfer sedd y ceriwbiaid aur oedd yn lledu eu hadenydd i gysgodi Arch Ymrwymiad yr Arglwydd. 19“Dw i wedi ysgrifennu'r cwbl i lawr yn fanwl, yn union fel roedd yr Arglwydd wedi fy arwain i,” 20meddai Dafydd wrth Solomon. “Bydd yn gryf a dewr! Bwrw iddi! Paid bod ag ofn na panicio! Mae'r Arglwydd Dduw, fy Nuw i, gyda ti. Fydd e ddim yn dy adael di nac yn troi cefn arnat ti nes bydd y gwaith yma i gyd ar deml yr Arglwydd wedi ei orffen. 21Dyma sut mae'r offeiriaid a'r Lefiaid wedi eu rhannu'n grwpiau i wneud holl waith teml Dduw. Mae'r gweithwyr a'r crefftwyr yn barod i dy helpu i wneud y cwbl. Mae'r swyddogion a'r bobl i gyd yn barod i wneud beth bynnag wyt ti'n ddweud.”

How do I do a word study?

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
