1Ydw i ddim yn rhydd? Wrth gwrs fy mod i! Ydw i ddim yn gynrychiolydd personol i'r Meseia? Ydw, a dw i wedi gweld ein Harglwydd Iesu yn fyw! 2Os ydw i ddim yn ei gynrychioli yng ngolwg rhai, dw i siŵr o fod yn eich golwg chi! Chi ydy'r dystysgrif sy'n profi fy mod i'n gynrychiolydd personol i'r Arglwydd. 3Dyma fy amddiffyniad i'r rhai sy'n feirniadol ohono i. 4Mae gynnon ni hawl i fwyta ac yfed siŵr o fod? 5Oes gynnon ni ddim hawl i briodi a mynd â'n gwraig sy'n Gristion o gwmpas gyda ni? – dyna mae ei gynrychiolwyr personol eraill, a brodyr yr Arglwydd a Pedr ▼▼9:5 Pedr: gw. nodyn ar 1:12
yn ei wneud. 6Neu ai fi a Barnabas ydy'r unig rai sy'n gorfod gweithio am eu bywoliaeth? 7Ydy milwr yn y fyddin yn gorfod talu ei gostau ei hun? Ydy rhywun yn plannu gwinllan a byth yn cael bwyta'r grawnwin? Neu'n gofalu am braidd a byth yn cael yfed y llaeth? 8A peidiwch meddwl mai dim ond dadlau ar sail enghreifftiau o fywyd pob dydd wna i. Ydy Cyfraith Duw ddim yn dweud yr un peth? 9Ydy, mae wedi ei ysgrifennu yn y Gyfraith: “Peidiwch rhwystro'r ychen sy'n sathru'r ŷd rhag bwyta.” b Ai dim ond poeni am ychen mae Duw? 10Oedd e ddim yn dweud hyn er ein mwyn ni hefyd? Wrth gwrs ei fod e – dyna pam gafodd ei ysgrifennu. Pan mae rhywun yn aredig y tir neu'n dyrnu'r cynhaeaf, mae'n disgwyl cael cyfran o'r cnwd! 11Felly os wnaethon ni hau hadau ysbrydol yn eich plith chi, ydyn ni'n gofyn gormod i ddisgwyl cael peth ffrwyth materol gynnoch chi? 12Os ydy eraill yn cael eu cynnal gynnoch chi, mae'n siŵr fod gynnon ni hawl i ddisgwyl hynny! Ond wnaethon ni erioed fanteisio ar yr hawl. Roedden ni'n fodlon dioddef unrhyw beth er mwyn osgoi peri rhwystr i'r newyddion da am y Meseia. 13Ydych chi ddim yn deall fod y rhai sy'n gweithio yn y deml yn cael eu bwyd yn y deml, a'r rhai sy'n gwasanaethu wrth yr allor yn cael cyfran o beth sy'n cael ei offrymu ar yr allor? 14Yn union yr un fath, mae'r Arglwydd wedi gorchymyn fod y rhai sy'n cyhoeddi'r newyddion da i gael ennill bywoliaeth drwy'r newyddion da. 15Ond dw i fy hun ddim wedi manteisio ar fy hawliau o gwbl. A dw i ddim yn ysgrifennu hyn yn y gobaith o gael rhywbeth chwaith! Byddai'n well gen i farw na bod rhywun yn cymryd sail fy ymffrost oddi arna i. 16Dydy hyd yn oed y ffaith fy mod i'n cyhoeddi'r newyddion da ddim yn rhoi sail i mi frolio – does gen i ddim dewis! Mae'n rhaid i mi gyhoeddi'r neges! Allwn i ddim dioddef peidio cael cyhoeddi'r newyddion da! 17Petawn i'n cyhoeddi'r neges am fy mod i'n dewis gwneud hynny gallwn i dderbyn gwobr. Ond ddim felly mae hi – y cwbl dw i'n ei wneud ydy cyflawni'r dasg sydd wedi cael ei rhoi i mi. 18Felly beth ydy'r wobr i mi? Hyn yn syml: Fy mod yn cyhoeddi'r newyddion da i bobl yn rhad ac am ddim, heb fanteisio ar fy hawliau fel pregethwr. 19Ydw, dw i'n rhydd go iawn. Dw i ddim yn gorfod ufuddhau i unrhyw un am eu bod nhw'n talu i mi. Ond ar y llaw arall, dw i'n gwneud fy hun yn gaethwas i bawb, er mwyn ennill cymaint o bobl ag sydd modd. 20Dw i'n siarad â'r Iddewon fel Iddew, er mwyn ennill yr Iddewon. Gyda phawb sy'n dilyn Cyfraith Moses dw i'n siarad fel un sy'n dilyn y Gyfraith. Dw i fy hun ddim yn rhwym i ofynion Cyfraith Moses, ond dw i am ennill y rhai sydd yn dilyn y Gyfraith. 21Gyda'r rhai sydd ddim yn dilyn Cyfraith Moses dw i'n siarad fel un sydd heb y Gyfraith, er mwyn ennill y rhai sydd heb y Gyfraith (Wrth gwrs, dw i ddim yn rhydd o Gyfraith Dduw go iawn gan fy mod i'n ymostwng i gyfraith y Meseia). 22Dw i'n uniaethu gyda'r rhai sy'n ‛wan‛ er mwyn ennill y gwan. Dw i wedi gwneud fy hun yn bob peth i bawb er mwyn gwneud popeth sy'n bosib i achub pobl. 23Dw i'n gwneud hyn i gyd er mwyn y newyddion da ei hun, ac i minnau gael rhannu o'i fendithion. 24Mae'r rhai sy'n rhedeg ras mewn gemau athletaidd i gyd yn cystadlu, ond dim ond un sy'n ennill y wobr. Dyna sut dylech chi redeg – fel rhai sy'n benderfynol o ennill. 25I gystadlu yn y Gemau mae'n rhaid i athletwyr hyfforddi'n galed. Maen nhw'n gwneud hynny i ennill coron fydd ond yn para dros dro. Ond dŷn ni'n ymdrechu am goron fydd yn para am byth! 26Felly dw i ddim yn rhedeg fel rhywun sydd wedi colli golwg ar y nod; a dw i ddim yn bocsio dim ond i ddyrnu'r awyr. 27Na, dw i'n gwthio fy hun i'r eithaf ac yn ennill rheolaeth lwyr – rhag i mi, ar ôl cyhoeddi'r neges i bobl eraill, gael fy ngwahardd rhag ennill y wobr fy hun!

How do I do a word study?
- What information can I find about a word?

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
