▼28:1 Effraim Effraim oedd prif lwyth teyrnas Israel, ac mae'n aml yn cynrychioli y wlad yn gyfan.
yn syrthio,a'i harddwch yn ddim ond blodau wedi gwywo –
blodau oedd yn tyfu ar ben dyffryn ffrwythlon.
Maen nhw'n chwil gaib!
2Edrychwch! Mae gan y Meistr un cryf a dewr
sydd fel storm o genllysg, ie, drycin ddinistriol –
fel storm pan mae'r glaw yn arllwys i lawr
ac yn bwrw popeth i'r llawr.
3Bydd coron falch meddwon Effraim
wedi ei sathru dan draed,
4a'i blodau wedi gwywo –
y blodau oedd yn tyfu ar ben dyffryn ffrwythlon.
Byddan nhw fel ffigysen gynnar
cyn i'r cynhaeaf ddod.
Bydd rhywun yn sylwi arni
ac yn ei llyncu yr eiliad mae'n gafael ynddi.
5Bryd hynny,
bydd yr Arglwydd holl-bwerus yn goron hardd,
ac yn dorch wedi ei phlethu'n hyfryd
i'r bobl fydd wedi eu gadael ar ôl.
6Bydd yn rhoi arweiniad i'r un sy'n eistedd i farnu,
a nerth i'r rhai sy'n amddiffyn giatiau'r ddinas.
Proffwydi meddw Jwda
7Ond mae'r rhain wedi meddwi'n gaib ar win;maen nhw'n chwil ar ôl yfed cwrw.
Mae'r offeiriad a'r proffwyd
wedi meddwi'n gaib ar gwrw
a drysu'n lân ar win.
Maen nhw'n chwil ar ôl yfed cwrw,
a'i gweledigaethau'n ddryslyd;
maen nhw'n baglu wrth farnu.
8Mae chwŷd a charthion
dros y byrddau i gyd,
does dim lle'n lân o gwbl.
9“Pwy mae e'n gallu ei ddysgu?
I bwy fyddai e'n gallu esbonio rhywbeth?
I blantos bach
sydd newydd ddod oddi ar y frest?
10Dim ond ailadrodd llythrennau'r wyddor,
‘a, b,’ ‘a, b,’
‘c, ch, d,’ ‘c, ch, d’
tyrd yma, bach; fan yma, bach!”
11O'r gorau, bydd yn siarad gyda nhw
fel un yn siarad yn aneglur mewn iaith estron.
12Roedd wedi dweud wrthyn nhw:
“Dyma le saff, lle i'r blinedig orffwys;
dyma le i chi orwedd i lawr.”
Ond doedd neb yn fodlon gwrando.
13Felly dyma neges yr Arglwydd iddyn nhw:
“‘a, b,’ ‘a, b,’
‘c, ch, d,’ ‘c, ch, d’
tyrd yma, bach; fan yma, bach!”
Wrth geisio mynd yn eu blaenau
byddan nhw'n syrthio ar eu tinau,
yn cael eu dryllio a'u rhwymo a'u dal.
Conglfaen yn Seion
14Felly dyma neges yr Arglwyddi chi sy'n gwawdio;
chi arweinwyr y bobl yn Jerwsalem!
15Chi sy'n brolio,
“Dŷn ni wedi gwneud cytundeb gyda Marwolaeth,
a taro bargen i osgoi'r bedd.
Pan fydd y dinistr yn ysgubo trwodd,
fydd e ddim yn ein cyffwrdd ni.
Dŷn ni wedi gwneud twyll yn lle i guddio,
a chelwydd yn lle saff i gysgodi.”
16Dyma mae fy Meistr, yr Arglwydd, yn ei ddweud: “Edrychwch, dw i'n mynd i osod carreg yn Seion,
carreg ddiogel,
conglfaen gwerthfawr,
sylfaen hollol gadarn.
Fydd pwy bynnag sy'n credu ddim yn panicio.
17Bydda i'n gwneud cyfiawnder yn llinyn mesur,
a tegwch yn llinyn plwm.
Bydd cenllysg yn ysgubo'r twyll, sef eich lle i guddio,
a bydd dŵr y llifogydd yn boddi'ch lle saff i gysgodi.
18Bydd eich cytundeb hefo Marwolaeth yn cael ei dorri,
a'ch bargen gyda'r bedd yn chwalu.
Pan fydd y dinistr yn ysgubo trwodd,
chi fydd yn diodde'r difrod.
19Bydd yn eich taro chi
bob tro y bydd yn dod heibio.
Bydd yn dod un bore ar ôl y llall,
bob dydd a bob nos.”

yn achosi dychryn ofnadwy.
20Mae'r gwely'n rhy fyr i ymestyn arno,
a'r garthen yn rhy gul i rywun ei lapio amdano!
21Bydd yr Arglwydd yn codi
fel y gwnaeth ar Fynydd Peratsîm ▼

23Gwrandwch yn astud ar hyn!Gwnewch yn siŵr eich bod yn clywed be dw i'n ddweud.
24Ydy'r sawl sy'n aredig
yn aredig drwy'r amser heb hau?
Ydy e'n troi'r tir a'i lyfnu'n ddi-baid?
25Ar ôl ei lefelu, onid ydy e'n
gwasgaru ffenigl a hadau cwmin?
Onid ydy e'n hau gwenith mewn rhes,
haidd yn ei le, a sbelt yn ei wely?
26Ei Dduw sy'n ei ddysgu;
mae'n dysgu'r ffordd iawn iddo.
27Dydy ffenigl ddim yn cael ei ddyrnu gyda sled,
na cwmin gydag olwyn trol.
Mae ffenigl yn cael ei guro hefo ffon,
a cwmin gyda gwialen.
28Mae gwenith yn cael ei falu,
ond ddim yn ddiddiwedd.
Mae olwyn trol yn rholio trosto,
ond dydy'r ceffylau ddim yn ei sathru.
29A'r Arglwydd holl-bwerus sydd wedi trefnu hyn hefyd –
Mae ganddo gynllun gwych,
ac mae'n rhyfeddol o ddoeth.

How do I do a word study?

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
