1“Credwch chi fi, lleidr ydy'r un sy'n dringo i mewn i gorlan y defaid heb fynd drwy'r giât. 2Mae'r bugail sy'n gofalu am y defaid yn mynd i mewn drwy'r giât. 3Mae'r un sy'n gwylio'r gorlan dros nos yn agor y giât iddo, ac mae ei ddefaid ei hun yn nabod ei lais. Mae'n galw pob un o'i ddefaid wrth eu henwau, ac yn eu harwain nhw allan. 4Ar ôl iddo fynd â nhw i gyd allan, mae'n cerdded o'u blaenau nhw, ac mae ei ddefaid yn ei ddilyn am eu bod yn nabod ei lais. 5Fyddan nhw byth yn dilyn rhywun dieithr. 7Felly dwedodd Iesu eto, “Credwch chi fi – fi ydy'r giât i'r defaid fynd trwyddi. 8Lladron yn dwyn oedd pob un ddaeth o'm blaen i. Wnaeth y defaid ddim gwrando arnyn nhw. 9Fi ydy'r giât, a'r rhai sy'n mynd i mewn trwof fi sy'n ddiogel. Byddan nhw'n mynd i mewn ac allan, ac yn dod o hyd i borfa. 10Mae'r lleidr yn dod gyda'r bwriad o ddwyn a lladd a dinistrio. Dw i wedi dod i roi bywyd i bobl, a hwnnw'n fywyd ar ei orau.Iesu, y bugail da
11“Fi ydy'r bugail da. Mae'r bugail da yn fodlon marw dros y defaid. 12Mae'r gwas sy'n cael ei dalu i ofalu am y defaid yn rhedeg i ffwrdd pan mae'n gweld y blaidd yn dod. (Dim fe ydy'r bugail, a does ganddo ddim defaid ei hun). Mae'n gadael y defaid, ac mae'r blaidd yn ymosod ar y praidd ac yn eu gwasgaru nhw. 13Dim ond am ei fod yn cael ei dalu mae'n edrych ar ôl y defaid, a dydy e'n poeni dim amdanyn nhw go iawn. 14“Fi ydy'r bugail da. Dw i'n nabod fy nefaid fy hun ac maen nhw'n fy nabod i – 15yn union fel y mae'r Tad yn fy nabod i a dw innau'n nabod y Tad. Dw i'n fodlon marw dros y defaid. 16Mae gen i ddefaid eraill sydd ddim yn y gorlan yma. Rhaid i mi eu casglu nhw hefyd, a byddan nhw'n gwrando ar fy llais. Yna byddan nhw'n dod yn un praidd, a bydd un bugail. 17Mae fy Nhad yn fy ngharu i am fy mod yn mynd i farw'n wirfoddol, er mwyn dod yn ôl yn fyw wedyn. 18Does neb yn cymryd fy mywyd oddi arna i; fi fy hun sy'n dewis rhoi fy mywyd yn wirfoddol. Mae gen i'r gallu i'w roi a'r gallu i'w gymryd yn ôl eto. Mae fy Nhad wedi dweud wrtho i beth i'w wneud.” 19Roedd beth roedd yn ei ddweud yn achosi rhaniadau eto ymhlith yr Iddewon. 20Roedd llawer ohonyn nhw'n dweud, “Mae cythraul ynddo! Mae'n hurt bost! Pam ddylen ni wrando arno?” 21Ond roedd pobl eraill yn dweud, “Dydy e ddim yn siarad fel rhywun wedi ei feddiannu gan gythraul. Ydy cythraul yn gallu rhoi golwg i bobl ddall?”Yr arweinwyr Iddewig yn gwrthod Iesu
22Roedd y gaeaf wedi dod, ac roedd hi'n amser dathlu Gŵyl y Cysegru yn Jerwsalem. 23Roedd Iesu yno yng nghwrt y deml, yn cerdded o gwmpas Cyntedd Colofnog Solomon. ▼▼10:23 Cyntedd Colofnog Solomon: Cyntedd gyda colofnau uchel. Roedd ar ochr ddwyreiniol y deml.
24Dyma'r arweinwyr Iddewig yn casglu o'i gwmpas, a gofyn iddo, “Am faint wyt ti'n mynd i'n cadw ni'n disgwyl? Dywed wrthon ni'n blaen os mai ti ydy'r Meseia.” 25“Dw i wedi dweud,” meddai Iesu, “ond dych chi'n gwrthod credu. Mae'r gwyrthiau dw i yn eu gwneud ar ran fy Nhad yn dweud y cwbl. 26Ond dych chi ddim yn credu am eich bod chi ddim yn ddefaid i mi. 27Mae fy nefaid i yn fy nilyn am eu bod yn nabod fy llais i, a dw i'n eu nabod nhw. 28Dw i'n rhoi bywyd tragwyddol iddyn nhw, a fyddan nhw byth yn mynd i ddistryw. Does neb yn gallu eu cipio nhw oddi arna i. 29Fy Nhad sydd wedi eu rhoi nhw i mi, ac mae e'n fwy na phawb a phopeth yn y bydysawd. Does neb yn gallu eu cipio nhw o afael fy Nhad. 30Dw i a'r Tad yn un.” 31Unwaith eto dyma'r arweinwyr Iddewig yn codi cerrig i'w labyddio'n farw, 32ond meddai Iesu wrthyn nhw, “Dych chi wedi fy ngweld i'n gwneud lot fawr o bethau da – gwyrthiau'r Tad. Am ba un o'r rhain dych chi'n fy llabyddio i?” 33“Dŷn ni ddim yn dy labyddio am wneud unrhyw beth da,” atebodd yr arweinwyr Iddewig, “ond am gablu! Am dy fod ti sydd ond yn ddynol, yn honni mai Duw wyt ti.” 34Ond atebodd Iesu nhw, “Mae'n dweud yn eich ysgrifau sanctaidd chi, ‘Dywedais, “Duwiau ydych chi.”’ b 35Dych chi ddim yn gallu diystyru'r ysgrifau sanctaidd! Felly os oedd yr arweinwyr ddwedodd Duw hynny wrthyn nhw yn ‛dduwiau‛ 36sut dych chi'n gallu dweud fy mod i'n cablu dim ond am fy mod i wedi dweud ‘Fi ydy mab Duw’? Y Tad ddewisodd fi a'm hanfon i i'r byd. 37Os ydw i ddim yn gwneud gwaith fy Nhad peidiwch credu ynof fi. 38Ond os dw i yn gwneud yr un fath â'm Tad, credwch yn yr hyn dw i'n ei wneud er eich bod chi ddim yn credu ynof fi. Wedyn dowch chi i wybod a deall fod y Tad ynof fi, a minnau yn y Tad.” 39Dyma nhw'n ceisio ei ddal unwaith eto, ond llwyddodd i ddianc o'u gafael nhw. 40Yna aeth Iesu yn ôl ar draws Afon Iorddonen i'r lle roedd Ioan Fedyddiwr wedi bod yn bedyddio yn y dyddiau cynnar. Arhosodd Iesu yno 41a daeth llawer o bobl allan ato. Roedden nhw yn dweud, “Wnaeth Ioan ddim gwneud unrhyw wyrth, ond roedd popeth ddwedodd e am y dyn hwn yn wir.” 42A daeth llawer i gredu yn Iesu yn y lle hwnnw.

How do I do a word study?

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
