(Mathew 28:1-10; Marc 16:1-8; Luc 24:1-12) 1Yn gynnar iawn ar y bore Sul, a hithau'n dal yn dywyll, dyma Mair Magdalen yn mynd at y bedd a darganfod fod y garreg fawr oedd ar geg y bedd wedi ei symud. 2Felly dyma hi'n rhedeg at Simon Pedr a'r disgybl arall (yr un oedd Iesu'n ei garu'n fawr), a dweud wrthyn nhw, “Maen nhw wedi cymryd yr Arglwydd allan o'r bedd, a dŷn ni ddim yn gwybod ble maen nhw wedi ei roi e!” 3Felly dyma Pedr a'r disgybl arall yn mynd allan i fynd at y bedd. 4Rhedodd y ddau gyda'i gilydd, ond dyma'r disgybl arall yn rhedeg yn gynt na Pedr a chyrraedd yno o'i flaen. 5Plygodd i edrych i mewn i'r bedd, a gweld y stribedi o liain yn gorwedd yno, ond aeth e ddim i mewn. 6Yna dyma Simon Pedr yn cyrraedd ar ei ôl ac yn mynd yn syth i mewn i'r bedd. Gwelodd yntau'r stribedi o liain yn gorwedd yno. 7Gwelodd hefyd y cadach oedd wedi bod am wyneb Iesu, ond roedd hwnnw wedi ei blygu a'i osod o'r neilltu ar wahân i'r stribedi lliain. 8Yna, yn y diwedd, dyma'r disgybl arall (oedd wedi cyrraedd y bedd gyntaf) yn mynd i mewn hefyd. Iesu oedd yno, ond doedd hi ddim yn sylweddoli mai Iesu oedd e. 15“Wraig annwyl,” meddai Iesu wrthi, “pam rwyt ti'n crïo? Am bwy rwyt ti'n chwilio?” Roedd hi'n meddwl mai'r garddwr oedd e, a dwedodd, “Syr, os mai ti sydd wedi ei symud, dywed lle rwyt ti wedi ei roi e, a bydda i'n mynd i'w nôl e.” 16Yna dyma Iesu'n dweud, “Mair.” Trodd ato, ac meddai yn Hebraeg, “Rabbwni!” (sy'n golygu ‛Athro‛). 17Dyma Iesu'n dweud wrthi, “Paid dal gafael ynof fi. Dw i ddim yn mynd i fyny at y Tad eto. Dos at fy mrodyr i a dweud wrthyn nhw, ‘Dw i'n mynd at fy Nhad a'm Duw, eich Tad a'ch Duw chi hefyd.’” 18Yna aeth Mair Magdalen at y disgyblion a dweud: “Dw i wedi gweld yr Arglwydd!” A dwedodd wrthyn nhw beth oedd e wedi ei ddweud wrthi.Iesu'n ymddangos i'w ddisgyblion

24Doedd Tomos ddim yno pan wnaeth Iesu ymddangos (Tomos oedd yn cael ei alw ‛Yr Efaill‛ – un o'r deuddeg disgybl). 25Dyma'r lleill yn dweud wrtho, “Dŷn ni wedi gweld yr Arglwydd!” Ond ei ymateb oedd, “Nes i mi gael gweld ôl yr hoelion yn ei arddyrnau, a rhoi fy mys yn y briwiau hynny a rhoi fy llaw i mewn yn ei ochr, wna i byth gredu'r peth!” 26Wythnos yn ddiweddarach roedd y disgyblion yn y tŷ eto, a'r tro hwn roedd Tomos yno gyda nhw. Er bod y drysau wedi eu cloi, daeth Iesu i mewn a sefyll yn y canol a dweud, “Shalôm!” 27Trodd at Tomos a dweud, “Edrych ar fy arddyrnau; rho dy fys i mewn ynddyn nhw. Estyn dy law i'w rhoi yn fy ochr i. Stopia amau! Creda!” 28A dyma Tomos yn dweud, “Fy Arglwydd a'm Duw!” 29“Rwyt ti wedi dod i gredu am dy fod wedi fy ngweld i,” meddai Iesu wrtho. “Mae'r rhai fydd yn credu heb weld yn mynd i gael eu bendithio'n fawr.” 30Gwelodd y disgyblion Iesu yn gwneud llawer o arwyddion gwyrthiol eraill, ond dw i ddim wedi ysgrifennu amdanyn nhw yma. 31Ond mae'r cwbl sydd yma wedi ei ysgrifennu er mwyn i chi gredu mai Iesu ydy'r Meseia, mab Duw. Pan fyddwch chi'n credu byddwch chi'n cael bywyd tragwyddol trwyddo.

How do I do a word study?

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
