Iesu'n anfon y deuddeg allan
(Marc 3:13-19; 6:7-13; Luc 6:12-16; 9:1-6) 1Galwodd y deuddeg disgybl at ei gilydd, a rhoi awdurdod iddyn nhw i fwrw ysbrydion drwg allan o bobl a iacháu pob afiechyd a salwch. 2Dyma enwau'r deuddeg oedd i'w gynrychioli: Simon (oedd yn cael ei alw yn Pedr), Andreas (brawd Pedr), Iago fab Sebedeus, Ioan (brawd Iago), 3Philip, Bartholomeus, Tomos, a Mathew (oedd yn casglu trethi i Rufain), Iago fab Alffeus, Thadeus, 4Simon y Selot a Jwdas Iscariot (yr un a'i bradychodd). 5Nhw oedd y deuddeg anfonodd Iesu allan. A dyma fe'n rhoi'r cyfarwyddiadau yma iddyn nhw: “Peidiwch mynd at y cenhedloedd eraill nac i mewn i un o bentrefi'r Samariaid. 6Ewch yn lle hynny at bobl Israel, sydd fel defaid ar goll. 7Dyma'r neges i chi ei chyhoeddi wrth fynd: ‘Mae'r Un nefol yn dod i deyrnasu.’ 8Ewch i iacháu pobl sy'n glaf, dod â phobl sydd wedi marw yn ôl yn fyw, iacháu'r rhai sy'n dioddef o'r gwahanglwyf, a bwrw allan gythreuliaid o fywydau pobl. Gan eich bod wedi derbyn y cwbl am ddim, rhowch yn rhad ac am ddim. 9Peidiwch cymryd arian, na hyd yn oed newid mân, gyda chi; 10dim bag teithio, na dillad sbâr na sandalau sbâr na ffon. Mae'r gweithiwr yn haeddu ei fara menyn. 11“Ble bynnag ewch chi, i dref neu bentref, edrychwch am rywun sy'n barod i'ch croesawu, ac aros yng nghartre'r person hwnnw nes byddwch yn gadael yr ardal. 12Wrth fynd i mewn i'r cartref, cyfarchwch y rhai sy'n byw yno. 13Os oes croeso yno, bydd yn cael ei fendithio; os oes dim croeso yno, cymerwch y fendith yn ôl. 14Os bydd rhywun yn gwrthod rhoi croeso i chi ac yn gwrthod gwrando ar eich neges chi, ysgydwch y llwch oddi ar eich traed ▼▼10:14 ysgydwch y llwch oddi ar eich traed: Ffordd o ddangos fod y trefi hynny'n cael eu gwrthod.

Bydd pobl yn eich dwyn o flaen yr awdurdodau ac yn eich chwipio yn eu synagogau. 18Cewch eich llusgo o flaen llywodraethwyr a brenhinoedd a'ch cyhuddo o fod yn ddilynwyr i mi, a byddwch yn tystiolaethu iddyn nhw ac i bobl o wledydd eraill amdana i. 19Pan gewch eich arestio, peidiwch poeni beth i'w ddweud o flaen y llys na sut i'w ddweud. Bydd y peth iawn i'w ddweud yn dod i chi ar y pryd. 20Dim chi fydd yn siarad, ond Ysbryd eich Tad fydd yn siarad trwoch chi. 21“Bydd dyn yn bradychu ei frawd i gael ei ladd, a thad yn bradychu ei blentyn. Bydd plant yn troi yn erbyn eu rhieni, ac yn eu rhoi i'r awdurdodau i'w dienyddio. 22Bydd pawb yn eich casáu chi am eich bod yn ddilynwyr i mi, ond bydd y rhai sy'n sefyll yn gadarn i'r diwedd un yn cael eu hachub. 23Pan fyddwch yn cael eich erlid yn un lle, ffowch i rywle arall. Credwch chi fi, fyddwch chi ddim wedi gorffen mynd trwy drefi Israel cyn i mi, Mab y Dyn, ddod mewn gogoniant. 24“Dydy disgybl ddim yn dysgu ei athro, a dydy caethwas ddim uwchlaw ei feistr. 25Mae'n ddigon i ddisgybl fod yn debyg i'w athro, ac i gaethwas fod yn gyfartal â'i feistr. Os ydy pennaeth y tŷ yn cael ei alw'n Beelsebwl (hynny ydy y diafol), ydy pawb arall yn y teulu yn disgwyl cael pethau'n haws?Pwy i'w ofni

Bydd popeth sydd wedi ei guddio yn dod i'r golwg, a phob cyfrinach yn cael ei datgelu. 27Yr hyn dw i'n ei ddweud o'r golwg, dwedwch chi'n agored yng ngolau dydd; beth sy'n cael ei sibrwd yn eich clust, cyhoeddwch yn uchel o bennau'r tai. 28Peidiwch bod ofn pobl. Maen nhw'n gallu lladd y corff ond fedran nhw ddim lladd y person go iawn. Duw ydy'r un i'w ofni – mae'r gallu ganddo e i ddinistrio'r person a'i gorff yn uffern. 29Beth ydy gwerth aderyn y to? Dych chi'n gallu prynu dau ohonyn nhw am newid mân! Ond does dim un aderyn bach yn syrthio'n farw heb i'ch Tad wybod am y peth. 30Mae Duw hyd yn oed wedi cyfri gwallt eich pen chi! 31Felly peidiwch bod ofn dim byd; dych chi'n llawer mwy gwerthfawr na haid fawr o adar y to!Arddel neu wadu Iesu

37“Dydy'r sawl sy'n caru ei dad a'i fam yn fwy na fi ddim yn haeddu perthyn i mi; a dydy'r sawl sy'n caru mab neu ferch yn fwy na fi ddim yn haeddu perthyn i mi; 38Dydy'r sawl sydd ddim yn codi ei groes, a cherdded yr un llwybr o hunanaberth â mi, ddim yn haeddu perthyn i mi. 39Bydd y sawl sy'n ceisio amddiffyn ei fywyd yn colli'r bywyd go iawn, ond y sawl sy'n barod i ollwng gafael ar ei fywyd er fy mwyn i yn diogelu bywyd go iawn iddo'i hun.

How do I do a word study?

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
