Y Bendithion
(Luc 6:20-23) 1Pan welodd Iesu yr holl dyrfaoedd, aeth i fyny i ben y mynydd. Pan eisteddodd i lawr, ▼▼5:1 eisteddodd i lawr: Roedd athrawon Iddewig yn eistedd pan oedden nhw'n dysgu.
daeth ei ddilynwyr ato, 2a dechreuodd eu dysgu, a dweud: 3“Mae'r rhai sy'n teimlo'n dlawd ac annigonol wedi eu bendithio'n fawr,oherwydd mae'r Un nefol yn teyrnasu yn eu bywydau.
4Mae'r rhai sy'n galaru wedi eu bendithio'n fawr,
oherwydd byddan nhw'n cael eu cysuro.
5Mae'r rhai addfwyn sy'n cael eu gorthrymu wedi eu bendithio'n fawr,
oherwydd byddan nhw'n etifeddu'r ddaear.
6Mae'r rhai sy'n llwgu a sychedu am gyfiawnder wedi eu bendithio'n fawr,
oherwydd byddan nhw'n cael eu bodloni'n llwyr.
7Mae'r rhai sy'n dangos trugaredd wedi eu bendithio'n fawr,
oherwydd byddan nhw'n cael profi trugaredd eu hunain.
8Mae'r rhai sydd â chalon bur wedi eu bendithio'n fawr,
oherwydd byddan nhw'n cael gweld Duw.
9Mae'r rhai sy'n hyrwyddo heddwch wedi eu bendithio'n fawr,
oherwydd byddan nhw'n cael eu galw'n blant Duw.
10Mae'r rhai sy'n dioddef erledigaeth am eu bod yn byw'n gyfiawn wedi eu bendithio'n fawr,
oherwydd mae'r Un nefol yn teyrnasu yn eu bywydau.
11“Pan fydd pobl yn eich sarhau chi, a'ch erlid, ac yn dweud pethau drwg amdanoch chi am eich bod yn perthyn i mi, dych chi wedi'ch bendithio'n fawr! 12Byddwch yn llawen! Mwynhewch er gwaetha'r cwbl, achos mae gan Dduw yn y nefoedd wobr fawr i chi. Cofiwch fod y proffwydi oedd yn byw ers talwm wedi cael eu herlid yn union yr un fath! b

Dydy e'n dda i ddim ond i'w daflu i ffwrdd a'i sathru dan draed. 14“Chi ydy'r golau sydd yn y byd. Mae'n amhosib cuddio dinas sydd wedi ei hadeiladu ar ben bryn. 15A does neb yn goleuo lamp i'w gosod o dan fowlen! Na, dych chi'n gosod lamp ar fwrdd er mwyn iddi roi golau i bawb yn y tŷ. 16Dyna sut dylai'ch golau chi ddisgleirio, er mwyn i bobl foli'ch Tad yn y nefoedd wrth weld y pethau da dych chi'n eu gwneud.Ystyr y Gyfraith
17“Peidiwch meddwl fy mod i wedi dod i gael gwared â Chyfraith Moses ac ysgrifau'r Proffwydi. ▼▼5:17 Cyfraith Moses a'r Proffwydi: Yr ysgrifau sanctaidd Iddewig. Yr Hen Destament yn y Beibl.
Dim o gwbl! Dw i wedi dod i ddangos beth maen nhw'n ei olygu. 18Credwch chi fi, fydd dim un llythyren na manylyn lleia o'r Gyfraith yn cael ei ddileu nes bydd y nefoedd a'r ddaear yn diflannu. Rhaid i'r cwbl ddigwydd gyntaf. 19Bydd pwy bynnag sy'n torri'r gorchymyn lleia, ac yn dysgu pobl eraill i wneud yr un peth, yn cael ei ystyried y lleia yn y deyrnas nefol. Ond bydd pwy bynnag sy'n byw yn ufudd i'r gorchmynion ac yn dysgu eraill i wneud hynny, yn cael ei ystyried y mwya yn y deyrnas nefol. 20Dw i'n dweud hyn – os fyddwch chi ddim yn byw'n fwy cyfiawn na'r Phariseaid a'r arbenigwyr yn y Gyfraith, fyddwch chi byth yn un o'r rhai mae'r Un nefol yn teyrnasu yn eu bywydau. Os ydy rhywun yn sarhau ei gyfaill drwy ei alw'n idiot, mae'n atebol i'r Sanhedrin. Ond os bydd rhywun yn dweud ‘y diawl dwl’ wrth rywun arall, mae mewn perygl o losgi yn nhân uffern. 23“Felly, os wyt ti wrth yr allor yn y deml yn addoli Duw, ac yn cofio yno fod gan rhywun gŵyn yn dy erbyn, 24gad dy offrwm yno. Dos i wneud pethau'n iawn gyda nhw'n gyntaf; cei di gyflwyno dy offrwm i Dduw wedyn. 25“Os bydd rhywun yn dy gyhuddo o rywbeth ac yn mynd â ti i'r llys, setla'r mater ar unwaith cyn cyrraedd y llys. Ydy'n well gen ti iddo fynd â ti o flaen y barnwr, ac i'r barnwr orchymyn i swyddog dy roi yn y carchar? 26Cred di fi, chei di ddim dy ryddhau nes byddi wedi talu pob ceiniog.Godineb
27“Dych chi wedi clywed beth oedd yn cael ei ddweud, ‘Paid godinebu’ e 28Ond dw i'n dweud wrthoch chi fod unrhyw ddyn sy'n llygadu gwraig a'i feddwl ar ryw eisoes wedi cyflawni godineb gyda hi. 29Os ydy dy lygad orau yn gwneud i ti bechu, tynna hi allan a'i thaflu i ffwrdd. Mae'n well i ti golli rhan fach o dy gorff nag i dy gorff cyfan gael ei daflu i uffern. 30Ac os ydy dy law gryfaf yn gwneud i ti bechu, torra hi i ffwrdd a'i thaflu ymaith. Mae'n well i ti golli rhan o dy gorff nag i dy gorff cyfan gael ei daflu i uffern.Ysgariad

How do I do a word study?
- What information can I find about a word?

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
