Cyfrifoldebau'r Cohathiaid
1Yna dyma'r Arglwydd yn dweud wrth Moses ac Aaron: 2“Dw i eisiau i ti gynnal cyfrifiad o deuluoedd y Cohathiaid o lwyth Lefi 3– pob un sy'n cael gweithio yn y Tabernacl (sef y dynion rhwng tri deg a phum deg oed). 4Dyma gyfrifoldebau'r Cohathiaid dros bethau cysegredig y Tabernacl: 5Pan mae'n amser i'r gwersyll symud yn ei flaen, rhaid i Aaron a'i feibion ddod i gymryd llen y sgrîn i lawr, a'i roi dros Arch y dystiolaeth. 6Wedyn rhaid iddyn nhw roi gorchudd o grwyn môr-fuchod dros hwnnw, ac yna gosod lliain glas dros y cwbl. Gallan nhw wedyn roi'r polion i gario'r Arch yn eu lle. 7“Wedyn maen nhw i roi lliain glas dros fwrdd yr Arglwydd ▼▼4:7 fwrdd yr Arglwydd Hebraeg, “bwrdd yr wyneb”. Roedd wyneb Duw yn ffordd o gyfeirio at bresenoldeb Duw ei hun.
, ac yna gosod arno y platiau a'r dysglau, y powlenni a'r jygiau sy'n cael eu defnyddio i dywallt yr offrwm o ddiod. Ac mae'r bara i aros arno bob amser. 8Wedyn maen nhw i orchuddio'r cwbl gyda lliain coch, a rhoi gorchudd o grwyn môr-fuchod dros hwnnw wedyn. Yna gallan nhw roi'r polion i gario'r bwrdd yn eu lle. 9“Nesaf, maen nhw i roi lliain glas dros y menora sy'n rhoi golau, a'i lampau, gefeiliau, padellau, a jariau o olew sy'n mynd gyda hi. 10Yna rhaid iddyn nhw roi'r cwbl mewn gorchudd o grwyn môr-fuchod, a'i gosod ar bolyn i'w gario. 11“Wedyn maen nhw i roi lliain glas dros yr allor aur, ac yna rhoi gorchudd o grwyn môr-fuchod dros hwnnw. Gallan nhw wedyn roi'r polion i gario'r allor yn eu lle. 12“Wedyn rhaid iddyn nhw gymryd gweddill yr offer sy'n cael ei ddefnyddio yn y cysegr, a'u rhoi nhw mewn lliain glas. Rhoi gorchudd o grwyn môr-fuchod amdanyn nhw wedyn, a'i gosod ar bolyn i'w cario. 13“Yna nesaf, rhaid iddyn nhw daflu'r lludw oedd ar yr allor, cyn rhoi lliain porffor drosti. 14Yna gosod ei hoffer i gyd arni – y padellau, ffyrc, rhawiau, powlenni taenellu, a holl offer arall yr allor. Wedyn rhoi gorchudd o grwyn môr-fuchod dros y cwbl, a rhoi'r polion i'w chario yn eu lle. 15“Pan fydd Aaron a'i feibion wedi gorffen gorchuddio'r cysegr a'r holl ddodrefn ac offer sydd ynddo, a'r gwersyll yn barod i symud, bydd y Cohathiaid yn dod i gario'r cwbl. Ond rhaid iddyn nhw beidio cyffwrdd unrhyw beth cysegredig, neu byddan nhw'n marw. Dyma gyfrifoldeb y Cohathiaid gyda'r Tabernacl. 16“Mae Eleasar fab Aaron, yr offeiriad, i fod yn gyfrifol am yr olew ar gyfer y golau, yr arogldarth persawrus, y grawn ar gyfer yr offrwm dyddiol, a'r olew eneinio. Ond mae hefyd yn gyfrifol am y Tabernacl i gyd, a phopeth sydd ynddo, a'r cysegr a'i holl ddodrefn.” 17Dyma'r Arglwydd yn dweud wrth Moses ac Aaron: 18“Peidiwch gadael i dylwythau'r Cohathiaid ddiflannu o blith y Lefiaid. 19Er mwyn gwneud yn siŵr eu bod nhw ddim yn marw wrth fynd yn agos at y pethau cysegredig, rhaid gwneud hyn: Rhaid i Aaron a'i feibion ddweud wrth bob dyn yn union beth ydy ei gyfrifoldeb e. 20A rhaid i'r Cohathiaid beidio edrych ar y pethau cysegredig yn cael eu gorchuddio, neu byddan nhw'n marw.” Cyfrifoldebau'r Gershoniaid
21Yna dyma'r Arglwydd yn dweud wrth Moses: 22“Dw i eisiau i ti gynnal cyfrifiad o deuluoedd y Gershoniaid hefyd 23– pob un sy'n cael gweithio yn y Tabernacl (sef y dynion rhwng tri deg a phum deg oed). 24Dyma gyfrifoldebau'r Gershoniaid, a'r gwaith maen nhw i'w gyflawni: 25Nhw sydd i gario llenni'r Tabernacl a Pabell Presenoldeb Duw a'i gorchudd, y gorchudd o grwyn môr-fuchod, y sgrîn ar draws y fynedfa i'r iard, 26y llenni o gwmpas yr iard, y sgrîn sydd o flaen y fynedfa i'r iard sydd o gwmpas y tabernacl a'r allor, a'r rhaffau, a phopeth arall sy'n gysylltiedig â'r rhain. Dyna'r gwaith maen nhw i'w wneud. 27Aaron a'i feibion sydd i oruchwylio'r gwaith mae'r Gershoniaid yn ei wneud – beth sydd i'w gario, ac unrhyw beth arall sydd i'w wneud. Nhw sydd i ddweud yn union beth ydy cyfrifoldeb pawb. 28Dyna gyfrifoldeb y Gershoniaid yn y Tabernacl. Byddan nhw'n atebol i Ithamar fab Aaron, yr offeiriad.Cyfrifoldebau'r Merariaid
29“Ac wedyn y Merariaid. Dw i eisiau i ti gynnal cyfrifiad o'u teuluoedd nhw 30– pob un sy'n cael gweithio yn y Tabernacl (sef y dynion rhwng tri deg a phum deg oed). 31Dyma beth maen nhw i fod i'w gario: fframiau'r Tabernacl, y croesfarrau, y polion a'r socedi. 32Hefyd, polion yr iard i gyd, gyda'i socedi, pegiau a rhaffau, a phopeth arall i'w wneud â'r rhain. Rhaid dweud wrth bob dyn beth yn union mae e'n gyfrifol am ei gario. 33Dyna waith y Merariaid – eu cyfrifoldeb nhw dros Babell Presenoldeb Duw. Maen nhw hefyd yn atebol i Ithamar fab Aaron, yr offeiriad.”Canlyniadau'r Cyfrifiad
34Felly dyma Moses ac Aaron a'r arweinwyr eraill yn cynnal cyfrifiad o deuluoedd y tri clan oedd yn perthyn i lwyth Lefi – y Cohathiaid, y Gershoniaid a'r Merariaid. Niferoedd y dynion rhwng tri deg a phum deg oed oedd yn cael gweithio yn y Tabernacl. A dyma'r canlyniad:

How do I do a word study?

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
