1Ond wedyn beth amdanat ti? – Ie, ti sydd mor barod i farnu pobl eraill a gosod dy ffon fesur arnyn nhw! Beth ydy dy esgus di? Y gwir ydy, rwyt ti'n gwneud yr un pethau! Felly wrth farnu pobl eraill rwyt ti'n dy gondemnio dy hun! 2Dŷn ni'n gwybod ei bod hi'n berffaith iawn i Dduw farnu pobl am wneud y fath bethau. 3Ond wyt ti felly'n meddwl y byddi di'n osgoi cael dy farnu? Ie, ti sydd mor barod i weld bai ar bobl eraill tra'n gwneud yn union yr un pethau dy hun! 4Neu wyt ti'n cymryd Duw yn ganiataol, am ei fod mor garedig a goddefgar ac amyneddgar? Wyt ti ddim yn gweld fod Duw trwy fod yn garedig atat ti eisiau dy arwain di i newid dy ffyrdd? 5Ond na, rwyt ti'n rhy ystyfnig! Felly rwyt ti'n storio mwy a mwy o gosb i ti dy hun ar y diwrnod hwnnw pan fydd Duw'n barnu. A bydd Duw'n barnu'n hollol deg. 6Bydd yn talu nôl i bob un beth mae'n ei haeddu. a 7Bydd y rhai sydd eisiau derbyn ysblander, anrhydedd ac anfarwoldeb gan Dduw – sef y rhai sy'n dal ati i wneud daioni – yn cael bywyd tragwyddol. 8Ond y rhai hynny sydd ddim ond yn meddwl amdanyn nhw eu hunain, ac sy'n gwrthod y gwir ac yn gwneud pethau drwg – fydd dim byd ond dicter Duw a chosb yn eu disgwyl nhw. 9Poen a dioddefaint fydd i'r rhai sy'n gwneud drwg – i'r Iddew ac i bawb arall; 10ond ysblander, anrhydedd a heddwch dwfn fydd i'r rhai sy'n gwneud daioni – i'r Iddew ac i bawb arall. 11Mae pawb yr un fath – does gan Dduw ddim ffefrynnau! b 12Bydd pobl sydd ddim yn Iddewon, a ddim yn gwybod am Gyfraith Duw, yn mynd i ddistryw am eu bod nhw wedi pechu. A bydd Iddewon, sef y bobl mae'r Gyfraith ganddyn nhw, yn cael eu cosbi am bechu hefyd – am dorri'r Gyfraith honno. 13Wedi'r cwbl, dydy clywed y Gyfraith ddim yn gwneud eich perthynas chi hefo Duw yn iawn; gwneud beth mae Cyfraith Duw yn ei ddweud sy'n cyfri. 14(Yn wir, mae pobl sydd ddim yn Iddewon yn gallu gwneud yn naturiol beth mae Cyfraith Duw yn ei ofyn – er eu bod nhw ddim yn gwybod am y Gyfraith. Maen nhw'n dangos eu bod yn gwybod beth sy'n iawn a beth sydd ddim er bod y Gyfraith ddim ganddyn nhw. 15Maen nhw'n dangos fod gofynion Cyfraith Duw wedi eu hysgrifennu ar eu calonnau nhw. Mae eu cydwybod nhw naill ai'n eu cyhuddo nhw neu'n dweud wrthyn nhw eu bod yn gwneud y peth iawn.) 16Yn ôl y newyddion da dw i'n ei gyhoeddi dyna fydd yn cyfri ar y diwrnod pan fydd Duw yn cael y Meseia Iesu i farnu cyfrinachau pawb.Yr Iddew a'i Gyfraith
17Felly ble mae hynny'n dy adael di sy'n galw dy hun yn Iddew? Rwyt ti'n brolio fod gen ti berthynas â Duw am fod gen ti'r Gyfraith. 18Rwyt ti'n honni dy fod ti'n gwybod beth mae Duw eisiau. Rwyt ti'n gallu dewis beth sydd orau i'w wneud (am dy fod wedi cael dy ddysgu yn y Gyfraith). 19Rwyt ti'n gweld dy hun fel rhywun sy'n gallu dangos y ffordd i bobl eraill, a rhoi golau i bobl sydd ar goll yn y tywyllwch. 20Rwyt ti'n meddwl dy fod ti'n gallu dysgu am Dduw i bobl sydd ddim yn gwybod amdano, ac i dy blant. Mae'r Gyfraith gen ti! Mae gen ti bopeth sydd angen ei wybod! Y gwir i gyd! … 21Rwyt ti'n dysgu pobl eraill, wyt ti? Felly, pam wyt ti ddim wedi dy ddysgu dy hun? Ti'n dweud wrth rywun arall “Paid dwyn,” c ond yn dwyn dy hun! 22Ti'n dweud “Paid godinebu”, d ond rwyt ti dy hun yn godinebu! Ti'n ffieiddio eilun-dduwiau, ond rwyt ti dy hun yn halogi'r cysegr! 23Mae'n ddigon hawdd brolio dy fod yn gwybod beth mae Cyfraith Duw'n ei ddweud, ond trwy dorri'r Gyfraith honno rwyt ti dy hun yn amharchu Duw. 24Fel mae'r ysgrifau sanctaidd yn dweud, “mae pobl y cenhedloedd yn dweud pethau drwg am Dduw o'ch achos chi.” e 25Byddai'r ddefod o enwaediad yn golygu rhywbeth taset ti'n gwneud popeth mae'r Gyfraith yn ei ofyn. Ond os wyt ti'n torri'r Gyfraith does gen ti ddim mantais – waeth i ti fod heb dy enwaedu ddim! 26Ond os oes rhywun sydd ddim yn Iddew, a heb ei enwaedu, yn gwneud beth mae Cyfraith Duw'n ei ofyn, oni fydd Duw yn ei dderbyn e yn union fel petai wedi cael ei enwaedu? 27Bydd y dyn sydd heb fod drwy'r ddefod o gael ei enwaedu (ond sy'n gwneud beth mae'r Gyfraith yn ei ofyn) yn dy gondemnio di sydd wedi ‛cadw at lythyren y ddeddf‛ drwy gael dy enwaedu yn gorfforol, ac eto'n dal i dorri'r Gyfraith! 28Dydy'r pethau allanol ddim yn dy wneud di'n Iddew go iawn. A dydy'r ddefod gorfforol ddim yr un peth ag enwaediad go iawn. 29Na, enwaediad go iawn ydy'r newid ynot ti sy'n dod drwy'r Ysbryd Glân f, dim y weithred lythrennol o dorri'r blaengroen. How do I do a word study?

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
