2a dweud wrtho: “Dywed wrth Aaron dy frawd ei fod e ddim yn cael mynd i mewn i'r Lle Mwyaf Sanctaidd unrhyw bryd mae e eisiau, neu bydd e'n marw. Dyna ble fydda i'n ymddangos, mewn cwmwl uwch ben caead yr Arch, tu ôl i'r llen. 3“Dyma sut mae e i fynd i mewn i'r Lle Mwyaf Sanctaidd: Rhaid iddo gyflwyno tarw ifanc yn offrwm i'w lanhau o'i bechod, a hwrdd yn offrwm i'w losgi. 4Rhaid iddo ymolchi mewn dŵr gyntaf. Wedyn gwisgo'r crys lliain pwrpasol, y dillad isaf, y sash, a'r twrban, i gyd o liain. Dyma ei wisg gysegredig e. 5Ar ran pobl Israel mae i fynd â dau fwch gafr yn offrwm i lanhau o bechod, a hwrdd yn offrwm i'w losgi. 6“Bydd Aaron yn cyflwyno'r tarw yn offrwm dros ei bechod ei hun, i wneud pethau'n iawn rhyngddo fe a'i gyd-offeiriaid a Duw. 7Wedyn bydd yn mynd â'r ddau fwch gafr o flaen yr Arglwydd at fynedfa Pabell Presenoldeb Duw. 8Yno bydd yn taflu coelbren i ddewis pa un biau'r Arglwydd a pa un biau Asasel. ▼▼16:8 Asasel gafr-gythraul yr anialwch oedd Asasel.
9Wedyn mae Aaron i gyflwyno'r bwch gafr cyntaf i'r Arglwydd yn offrwm i lanhau o bechod. 10Mae bwch gafr Asasel i'w osod i sefyll yn fyw o flaen yr Arglwydd iddo wneud pethau'n iawn drwy gael ei anfon allan i Asasel yn yr anialwch. 11“Mae Aaron yn cyflwyno'r tarw yn offrwm dros ei bechod ei hun, i wneud pethau'n iawn rhyngddo fe a'i deulu a Duw. 12Wedyn mae i gymryd padell dân wedi ei llenwi gyda marwor poeth oddi ar yr allor sydd o flaen yr Arglwydd, a dwy lond llaw o arogldarth persawrus wedi ei falu'n fân, a mynd i'r Lle Mwyaf Sanctaidd sydd tu ôl i'r llen. 13Yno mae i roi'r arogldarth ar y marwor, a bydd y mwg o'r thus fel cwmwl yn gorchuddio caead yr Arch, rhag iddo farw. 14Wedyn mae i gymryd peth o waed y tarw, a'i daenellu ar gaead yr Arch gyda'i fys ar yr ochr sy'n wynebu'r dwyrain. Mae i daenellu'r gwaed fel hyn saith gwaith. 15“Wedyn mae e i ladd y bwch gafr sy'n offrwm i lanhau'r bobl o'u pechod, a mynd â gwaed hwnnw y tu ôl i'r llen. Mae i wneud yr un peth gyda gwaed y bwch gafr ag a wnaeth gyda gwaed y tarw, sef ei daenellu ar gaead yr Arch. 16Dyna sut bydd e'n gwneud y cysegr yn lân. Mae'n rhaid gwneud hyn am fod pobl Israel wedi pechu a gwrthryfela yn erbyn Duw. Mae i wneud hyn am fod y Tabernacl yn aros yng nghanol pobl sy'n aflan o ganlyniad i'w pechod. 17Does neb arall i fod yn y Tabernacl o'r amser mae e'n mynd i mewn i wneud pethau'n iawn hyd yr amser mae e'n dod allan. Bydd e'n gwneud pethau'n iawn ar ei ran ei hun a'i gyd-offeiriaid, ac ar ran pobl Israel. 18Wedyn bydd yn mynd allan at yr allor sydd o flaen yr Arglwydd ac yn ei gwneud hi'n lân. Bydd yn cymryd peth o waed y tarw a gwaed y bwch gafr a'i roi ar bob un o gyrn yr allor. 19Bydd yn taenellu peth o'r gwaed ar yr allor gyda'i fys. Dyna sut bydd e'n cysegru'r allor a'i gwneud yn lân ar ôl iddi gael ei llygru gan bechodau pobl Israel. Y bwch gafr sy'n cael ei ollwng yn rhydd yn yr anialwch
20“Pan fydd Aaron wedi gorffen gwneud y Lle Mwyaf Sanctaidd, y Tabernacl, a'r allor yn lân, bydd yn mynd â'r bwch gafr byw o flaen y Tabernacl. 21Mae i osod ei ddwy law ar ben yr anifail tra'n cyffesu beiau pobl Israel a'r holl bethau wnaethon nhw i wrthryfela a phechu yn erbyn Duw. Mae'r cwbl yn cael ei roi ar ben y bwch gafr, a bydd dyn yna yn barod i arwain yr anifail allan i'r anialwch. 22Bydd y bwch gafr yn cario holl feiau pobl Israel allan i le unig. Bydd yr anifail yn cael ei ollwng yn rhydd yn yr anialwch. 23“Wedyn mae Aaron i fynd yn ôl i mewn i'r Tabernacl. Mae i dynnu'r dillad o liain oedd wedi eu gwisgo cyn mynd i mewn i'r Lle Mwyaf Sanctaidd, a'u gadael nhw yno. 24Mae i ymolchi gyda dŵr mewn lle cysegredig, a rhoi ei wisgoedd offeiriadol yn ôl ymlaen. Yna mae i ddod allan ac offrymu'r offrwm i'w losgi drosto'i hun a'r offrwm i'w losgi dros y bobl, i wneud pethau'n iawn rhyngddo'i hun â Duw a rhwng y bobl â Duw. 25Yna mae i losgi braster yr aberthau dros bechod ar yr allor. 26“Mae'r dyn wnaeth arwain y bwch gafr byw allan i Asasel yn yr anialwch, i olchi ei ddillad ac ymolchi mewn dŵr cyn dod yn ôl i mewn i'r gwersyll. 27Mae gweddillion y tarw ifanc a'r bwch gafr oedd yn offrymau dros bechod (eu gwaed nhw gafodd ei gymryd i wneud pethau'n iawn yn y Lle Mwyaf Sanctaidd) i'w cymryd tu allan i'r gwersyll i gael eu llosgi yno – y crwyn, y coluddion, a'r perfeddion. 28Mae'n rhaid i bwy bynnag sy'n gwneud hyn olchi ei ddillad ac ymolchi mewn dŵr cyn dod yn ôl i mewn i'r gwersyll.Cadw'r dydd i wneud pethau'n iawn
29“Mae hyn i fod yn rheol i chi bob amser: Bob blwyddyn, ar y degfed diwrnod o'r seithfed mis, ▼▼16:29 seithfed mis Tishri (sydd hefyd yn cael ei alw yn Ethanim). Seithfed mis y calendr Hebreig, o tua canol Medi i ganol Hydref.

Fydd y rheol yma byth yn newid. 32Dim ond yr offeiriad sydd wedi ei gysegru a'i eneinio i gymryd lle ei dad fel archoffeiriad sydd i wneud pethau'n iawn, ac i wisgo'r wisg gysegredig o liain. 33Bydd yn gwneud y Lle Mwyaf Sanctaidd, y Tabernacl a'r allor yn lân, ac yn gwneud pethau'n iawn rhwng Duw a'r offeiriaid a phobl Israel i gyd. 34Mae hyn i fod yn rheol am byth. Unwaith y flwyddyn bydd pethau'n cael eu gwneud yn iawn rhwng pobl Israel a Duw, ▼▼16:34 pethau'n … a Duw sef ‛Dydd y Cymod‛.

How do I do a word study?

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
