Pavlova cesta do Jeruzaléma

se od nich odtrhli, vypluli jsme. Plavili jsme se přímo ▼▼16,11†
a přišli jsme na Kós, druhý den na Rodos ▼▼[přední město stejnojmenného ostrova; jeden z dávných divů světa maják na Rhodu byl zničen dvě st. před Pavlovým příchodem]
a odtamtud do Patary. 2Našli jsme loď, která plula do Fénicie, ▼▼11,19
nalodili jsme se a vypluli. 3Přiblížili jsme se na dohled ke Kypru, ▼▼13,4
nechali jej vlevo a plavili se do Sýrie. Přistáli jsme v Týru, ▼▼15,3; Mt 11,21!
neboť tam měla loď vyložit náklad. 4Vyhledali jsme učedníky ▼▼19,1
a zůstali jsme tam sedm dní. Ti skrze Ducha říkali Pavlovi, aby nevstupoval do Jeruzaléma. 5Když ty dny uplynuly, ▼▼ř.: + vyjdouce,
vydali jsme se na cestu. Všichni i se ženami a dětmi nás vyprovázeli až za město. Na pobřeží jsme padli na kolena, ▼▼20,36
pomodlili se 6a rozloučili jsme se. Pak jsme vstoupili na loď a oni se vrátili domů. ▼▼ř.: do svého vlastního; J 19,27p
7Pavel odrazován od cesty do Jeruzaléma
Dokončili jsme plavbu z Týru a dorazili do Ptolemaidy. ▼▼[48 km jižně od Týru; dnešní Acco]
Tam jsme pozdravili ▼▼18,22
bratry ▼▼15,1!
a zůstali jsme u nich jeden den. 8Druhý den jsme vyšli a přišli do Cesareje. Vešli jsme do domu evangelisty ▼▼Ef 4,11; 2Tm 4,5
Filipa, ▼▼[asi zde působil téměř 25 let — 8,40]
který byl jedním ze sedmi, ▼▼Sk 6,5
a zůstali jsme u něho. 9Ten měl čtyři dcery, panny, ▼▼1K 7,38

10Když jsme tam pobývali už několik dní, přišel z Judska nějaký prorok jménem Agabos. ▼▼11,28
11Přišel k nám, vzal Pavlův opasek, ▼▼srv. Jr 13,1—11; Mk 1,6; 6,8
svázal si nohy a ruce a řekl: „Toto praví ▼▼8,29!
Duch Svatý: Muže, jemuž patří tento opasek, Židé v Jeruzalémě takto svážou a vydají do rukou ▼▼28,17; Jr 33,24; Mt 17,22

“ 12Když jsme to uslyšeli, prosili jsme Pavla my i tamní bratři, aby nevystupoval do Jeruzaléma. 13Tu Pavel odpověděl: „Proč pláčete ▼▼20,37
a trápíte mé srdce? Vždyť já jsem připraven nejen nechat se svázat, ale i umřít ▼▼20,24; Fp 2,17
v Jeruzalémě pro jméno ▼▼5,41; 9,16
Pána Ježíše.“ 14Protože se nenechal přesvědčit, přestali jsme naléhat a řekli jsme: „Děj se vůle Páně!“ ▼▼Mt 6,10!; 26,42; Ef 5,17
15Po těchto dnech jsme se připravili na cestu a vystupovali do Jeruzaléma. 16Šli s námi také někteří učedníci z Cesareje a vedli nás k jednomu z prvních učedníků, jistému Mnasonovi z Kypru; u něho jsme se měli ubytovat. 17Setkání v Jeruzalémě u Jakuba
Když jsme přišli do Jeruzaléma, ▼▼20,16; [den či dva před Letnicemi]
bratři nás radostně přijali. ▼▼15,4
18Druhý den šel Pavel s námi k Jakubovi ▼▼12,17

svých otců. 22Co teď? Nepochybně [se musí sejít shromáždění, neboť] uslyší, že jsi přišel. 23Udělej tedy to, co ti říkáme: Máme tu čtyři muže, kteří ⌈na sebe vzali⌉ ▼▼ř.: mají na sobě
slib. 24Ty vezmi s sebou, dej se očistit s nimi a zaplať za ně, aby si mohli dát oholit hlavu. ▼▼18,18
A všichni poznají, že na tom, co se o tobě doslechli, nic není, nýbrž že i sám řádně žiješ, zachovávaje Zákon. 25Pokud jde o pohany, kteří uvěřili, usoudili jsme a napsali ▼▼var.: poslali jsme
jim, [aby nic z toho nezachovávali kromě toho,] že se mají vystříhat masa obětovaného modlám, krve, zardoušeného a smilstva. ▼▼15,19n.28n
“ 26Potom Pavel vzal ty muže k sobě a na druhý den se s nimi dal očistit. Vešel do chrámu a oznámil, ⌈kdy skončí dny⌉ ▼▼ř.: vyplnění dnů; [tak, aby mohla být připravena oběť]
očišťování a bude přinesena oběť za každého z nich. 27Pavel je zatčen
Když se těch sedm dní ▼▼[během nichž probíhalo obřadné očištění (Nu 6,9)]
chýlilo ke konci, spatřili ho v chrámě Židé ▼▼20,19; 24,18
z Asie. Pobouřili ▼▼17,13
celý zástup, vztáhli na Pavla ▼▼ř.: něj

28a křičeli: „Muži Izraelci, ▼▼2,22
pomozte! Toto je ten člověk, který všude všechny učí proti tomuto lidu, proti Zákonu ▼▼6,13
a proti tomuto místu. Nadto ještě přivedl do chrámu Řeky ▼▼[vysloveně zakázané; avšak není důkaz, že by to Pavel udělal]

toto svaté místo.“ 29Viděli s ním totiž předtím ve městě Trofima ▼▼20,4

a domnívali se, že ho Pavel přivedl do chrámu. 30Celé město ▼▼19,29
se rozbouřilo a nastalo srocení lidu. Uchopili Pavla a vlekli ▼▼16,19

hlášení, že se bouří celý Jeruzalém. 32Ten vzal okamžitě vojáky i setníky a seběhl ⌈k nim dolů⌉. ▼▼ř.: na ně
Jakmile uviděli velitele posádky a vojáky, přestali Pavla bít. 33Tu se velitel přiblížil, uchopil ho a rozkázal ho spoutat dvěma řetězy. ▼▼12,6; 28,20; Ef 6,20; 2Tm 1,16; Sk 20,23; 21,11
Pak se vyptával, kdo to má být a co učinil. 34V zástupu vykřikoval každý něco jiného. ▼▼19,32
Když se nemohl pro ten zmatek dozvědět nic jistého, rozkázal odvést ho do kasáren. 35Když se Pavel ocitl na schodišti, ▼▼v. 40†
stalo se, že ho kvůli násilí lidu museli vojáci nést, 36neboť celé to množství lidu šlo za ním a křičelo: „Pryč s ním!“ ▼▼22,22; J 19,15

Když už ho měli odvést do kasáren, říká Pavel veliteli: „Smím ti něco říci?“ On řekl: „Ty umíš řecky? 38Ty tedy nejsi ten Egypťan, ▼▼srv. 5,36

How do I do a word study?

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
