5Řekl: „Kdo jsi, Pane?“ On [odpověděl]: „Já jsem Ježíš, kterého ty pronásleduješ. ▼▼5,39
6[Těžko (je) ti vzpínat se proti bodcům.“ (Saul) se třásl a děsil se. Řekl: „Pane, co chceš, abych učinil?“ A Pán mu (odpověděl): „] Vstaň, jdi do města a tam ti bude řečeno, co máš dělat.“ 7Muži, kteří s ním cestovali, stáli oněmělí; slyšeli sice hlas, ale nikoho neviděli. 8Saul vstal ze země, ale když otevřel oči, nic neviděl. Vzali ho za ruce a dovedli do Damašku. 9Po tři dny neviděl, nejedl ani nepil. ▼▼Est 4,16

Pán, [Ježíš,] který se ti ukázal na cestě, kterou jsi sem šel, mě poslal, abys opět viděl a byl naplněn Duchem Svatým.“ ▼▼2,4

a ukazovaly mu košile a pláště, které Dorkas dělala, dokud byla s nimi. 40Petr poslal ▼▼ř.: vyhnal

v Pána. 43A stalo se, že Petr zůstal v Joppe více dní u nějakého Šimona koželuha. ▼▼[Povolání bývalo často užíváno s osobním jménem pro identifikaci (16,14; 18,3; 19,24; 2Tm 4,14). Zde ovšem navíc poukazuje na to, že jako koželuh přicházel do kontaktu s kůží mrtvých zvířat, a tak byl obřadně nečistý a nejspíš pohrdán.]

How do I do a word study?

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
