1„Amen, amen, pravím vám, kdo nevchází do ovčince dveřmi, ale vniká ▼▼ř.: vystupuje
tam odjinud, to je zloděj ▼▼vv. 8.10
a lupič. 2Kdo však vchází dveřmi, je pastýř ▼▼v. 11
ovcí. 3Tomu hlídač ▼▼ř.: dveřník; [zjevně ohrady, kde bylo více stád]
otevírá a ovce slyší jeho ▼▼tj. pastýře
hlas; ▼▼v. 16
své ovce volá jménem a vyvádí je. 4Když všechny své vlastní vyžene ven, kráčí před nimi a ovce ho následují, protože znají jeho hlas. 5Za cizím však jistě nepůjdou, ale utečou od něho, protože hlas cizích neznají.“ 6Ježíš jim pověděl toto přirovnání, ▼▼16,25

a nalezne pastvu. 10Zloděj přichází, jen aby kradl, zabíjel ▼▼n.: obětoval

Dobrý pastýř pokládá svou duši ▼▼15,13; 1J3,16
za ovce. 12Námezdník, který není pastýř a ovce nejsou jeho vlastní, opouští ovce a utíká, když vidí, že přichází vlk. A vlk je uchvacuje a rozhání. 13[Námezdník utíká,] protože je námezdník a na ovcích mu nezáleží. 14Já jsem dobrý pastýř; znám svoje ovce a moje ovce znají mne, 15jako Otec ▼▼Mt 11,27
zná mne a já znám Otce. A svou duši pokládám ▼▼var.: dávám
za ovce. 16Mám ještě jiné ovce, které nejsou z tohoto ovčince. ▼▼ř.: dvora, ohrady
I ty musím přivést. Uslyší můj hlas a bude jedno stádo, ▼▼11,52; 17,20nn
jeden pastýř. 17Proto mne Otec miluje, že já pokládám svou duši, ▼▼tzn.: svůj život
abych ji zase přijal. 18Nikdo ji ode mne nebere, ale já ji pokládám sám od sebe. Mám moc ▼▼n.: pravomoc
ji položit, a mám moc ▼▼n.: pravomoc
ji opět přijmout. Tento příkaz jsem přijal od svého Otce.“ 19Pro tato slova došlo mezi Židy opět k roztržce. ▼▼7,43

a blázní. Proč ho posloucháte?“ 21Jiní říkali: „Toto nejsou slova démonizovaného. Může snad démon otevřít oči slepým?“ 22Židé Ježíše odmítli

How do I do a word study?
- What information can I find about a word?

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
