Zacheus se setkává s Ježíšem
1Ježíš vešel do Jericha a procházel jím. 2A hle, byl tam muž jménem Zacheus. Ten byl vrchním celníkem ▼▼18,10p

Ježíše, aby se přesvědčil, kdo to je, ale protože byl malé postavy, nemohl ho pro zástup vidět. 4Běžel tedy napřed a vylezl na ⌈planý fíkovník⌉, ▼▼[HL; sykomora (1Kr 10,27). Dosahoval až 15 m výšky, ale velké větve měl blízko k zemi.
aby ho uviděl, neboť tudy měl procházet. 5Když Ježíš přišel na to místo, vzhlédl a řekl mu: „Zachee, slez rychle dolů, neboť dnes musím ▼▼2,49p
zůstat v tvém domě.“ 6On rychle slezl a s radostí ▼▼v. 37; 8,13; Sk 8,39
ho přijal. 7Všichni, kdo to uviděli, začali reptat: ▼▼5,30

muži!“ 8Zacheus se zastavil a řekl Pánu: „Hle, polovinu svého majetku, ▼▼ř.: toho, co vlastním; 12,15; Sk 4,32

dám chudým, ▼▼18,22
a jestliže jsem někoho ošidil, ▼▼3,14

9Ježíš mu řekl: „Dnes se dostalo záchrany tomuto domu, ▼▼Sk 10,2p

10Neboť Syn člověka přišel vyhledat a zachránit, ▼▼1K 1,21!

11Podobenství o deseti hřivnách

podobenství, protože byl blízko Jeruzaléma a oni si mysleli, že Boží království se má objevit ihned. ▼▼4,39p; 17,20; Sk 1,6
12Proto řekl: „Jeden urozený ▼▼ř. eugenés — urozený (1K 1,26; Sk 17,11†)
člověk odešel do daleké krajiny, aby se ujal kralování a pak se vrátil. 13Zavolal deset svých otroků, dal jim deset hřiven ▼▼ř.: min (mina = šedesátina talentu = 100 drachem; 15,8p; tedy asi tříměsiční mzda); 1Kr 10,17p
a řekl jim: 'Hospodařte s nimi, dokud nepřijdu.' 14Avšak jeho spoluobčané ho nenáviděli a poslali za ním poselstvo se slovy: 'Nechceme, aby nad námi tento člověk kraloval.' ▼▼[K takové události došlo před třiceti lety v případě Archelaa (Jos. Ant. 17.9.3) a řadě dalších]
15A stalo se, když se ⌈jako král⌉ ▼▼ř.: přijav království
vrátil, že si dal zavolat ty otroky, kterým svěřil peníze, aby se dověděl, ⌈kolik vydělali⌉. ▼▼var.: kolik kdo vydělal
16Přišel první a řekl: 'Pane, tvoje hřivna vynesla deset hřiven.' 17Řekl mu: 'Výborně, ▼▼ř. euge; HL; srv. v. 12p

protože jsi v nejmenší věci byl věrný, ▼▼16,10
měj pravomoc nad deseti městy.' 18Přišel druhý a řekl: 'Tvá hřivna, Pane, získala ▼▼ř.: učinila
pět hřiven.' 19Také tomuto řekl: 'I ty buď vládcem nad pěti městy.' 20A přišel jiný a řekl: 'Pane, hle, tvá hřivna, kterou jsem měl uloženou v šátku, ▼▼J 11,44; 20,7; Sk 19,12†
21neboť jsem se tě bál, ▼▼1J 4,18

člověk: bereš, co jsi nedal, a sklízíš, co jsi nezasel.' 22Řekl mu: '⌈Podle tvých slov⌉ ▼▼ř.: Z tvých úst; 2S 1,16; Mt 12,37
tě budu soudit, špatný otroku. Věděl jsi, že jsem člověk přísný a beru, co jsem nedal, a sklízím, co jsem nezasel. 23Proč jsi nedal mé peníze ▼▼n.: stříbro
na stůl směnárníkovi? A já bych si je po příchodu vybral ▼▼3,13p
s úrokem!' 24A těm, kteří tam stáli, řekl: 'Vezměte od něho tu hřivnu a dejte tomu, který má deset hřiven.' 25[Řekli mu: 'Pane, už má deset hřiven.'] 26Pravím vám, že každému, kdo má, bude dáno; kdo nemá, tomu bude odňato i to, co má. ▼▼8,18
27'Avšak ty mé nepřátele, kteří nechtěli, abych nad nimi kraloval, přiveďte sem a přede mnou je pobijte.'“ ▼▼20,16
28Triumfální vjezd do Jeruzaléma
Když to pověděl, kráčel napřed a vystupoval do Jeruzaléma. 29A ▼▼//Mt 21,1—9
stalo se, když se přiblížil do Betfage a Betanie k hoře, která se nazývá Olivová, ▼▼v. 37; 21,37; 22,39; Mt 21,1!
že poslal dva z učedníků 30a řekl: „Jděte naproti do vesnice. Když do ní budete vcházet, naleznete přivázané oslátko, na němž dosud nikdo z lidí neseděl. Odvažte je a přiveďte. 31A bude–li se vás někdo ptát: 'Proč je odvazujete?' odpovězte ▼▼ř.: řeknete
takto: 'Pán je potřebuje.'“ 32Ti, kdo byli posláni, odešli a nalezli vše, jak jim řekl. 33Když oslátko odvazovali, řekli jim jeho páni: „Proč odvazujete to oslátko?“ 34Oni odpověděli: ▼▼ř.: řekli

přivedli je k Ježíšovi, hodili na oslátko své pláště a Ježíše na ně posadili. 36A jak jel, prostírali své pláště na cestu. 37Když se již přibližoval ke svahu Olivové hory, začal celý ten zástup ▼▼ř.: množství

velikým hlasem chválit ▼▼2,20

41Nářek nad Jeruzalémem
A když se přiblížil a uviděl město, dal se nad ním do pláče ▼▼13,34; Jr 9,1

[aspoň] v tento [svůj] den poznalo i ty, co je k [tvému] pokoji. Avšak nyní je to před tvýma očima ▼▼Iz 44,18; Ř 11,8

How do I do a word study?
- What information can I find about a word?

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
