Ježíšovi řekl: „Rabbi, ▼▼V Mk se oslovení rabbi vyskytuje 3× (9,5; 11,21; 14,45) a rabbúni 1× (10,51). V Mt 17,4 je místo rabbi užito kyrie ('Pane'). Jak dosvědčují kumránské texty či aram. targúmy, lze výraz rabbi vztáhnout nejen na člověka, ale i na Boha samotného. Mt 23,7; J 1,38p
je pro nás dobré tu být. Udělejme tři stánky, tobě jeden, Mojžíšovi jeden a Eliášovi jeden.“ 6Nevěděl totiž, co by na to řekl, ▼▼v. 5

7A objevil se ▼▼ř.: stal se
oblak a zastiňoval je, a z oblaku se ozval ▼▼ř.: stal se
hlas: „Toto je můj Syn, ten Milovaný, ▼▼1,11
poslouchejte ho.“ 8A náhle, když se rozhlédli, neviděli u sebe již nikoho, kromě samotného Ježíše. 9A když sestupovali z hory, nařídil jim, aby to, co spatřili, nikomu nevypravovali, dokud Syn člověka nevstane z mrtvých. 10Chytili se toho slova a mezi sebou se tázali, co to znamená 'vstát z mrtvých'. 11A ptali se ho: „Proč učitelé Zákona říkají, že nejprve musí přijít Eliáš?“ 12On jim říkal: „Nejprve opravdu přijde ▼▼n.: přišel; (ř. aor. ptc. — Jedná se prav. o konstatování skutečnosti bez časového umístění.)
Eliáš a všechno obnoví. ▼▼ř.: obnovuje
Ale jak to, že je napsáno o Synu člověka, že má mnoho vytrpět a být znevážen? 13Avšak pravím vám, že Eliáš již nejen přišel, ale také mu učinili, co chtěli, jak je o něm napsáno.“ 14Uzdravení démonizovaného chlapce

když přišli k učedníkům, uviděli kolem nich veliký zástup a učitele Zákona, jak se s nimi přou. 15A hned ⌈všichni v zástupu⌉, ▼▼ř.: celý zástup
jakmile ho uviděli, byli velmi překvapeni; běželi k němu a zdravili ho. 16I zeptal se jich: ▼▼var.: učitelů Zákona
„O čem se s nimi přete?“ 17A jeden člověk ze zástupu mu odpověděl: „Učiteli, ▼▼v. 38; 4,38
přivedl jsem k tobě svého syna, který má němého ducha. 18Kdekoli se ho zmocní, trhá jím, a on pění, skřípe zuby ▼▼Sk 7,54
a strne. ▼▼ř.: schne
Řekl jsem tvým učedníkům, aby ho ▼▼tj. toho ducha
vyhnali, ale nemohli.“ 19On jim na to ▼▼ř.: odpověděv
říká: „Ach, pokolení nevěřící, ▼▼Mt 17,17
jak dlouho ještě budu u vás? Jak dlouho ještě vás budu snášet? ▼▼Ř 15,1
Přiveďte ho ke mně.“ 20I přivedli ho k němu. Jakmile ho duch spatřil, ihned s ním zalomcoval, ▼▼v. 26v; L 9,42†
chlapec padl na zem, válel se a měl pěnu u úst. 21Ježíš se zeptal jeho otce: „Jak je to dlouho, co se mu to stává?“ On řekl: „Od dětství. 22Často ho hodil i do ohně a do vody, aby ho zahubil. Avšak můžeš–li něco udělat, slituj se nad námi ▼▼ř.: buď pohnut soucitem; 1,41; Mt 18,27; 20,34; L 7,13
a pomoz nám.“ 23Ježíš mu řekl: „Můžeš–li! Všechno je možné tomu, kdo věří.“ ▼▼2Pa 20,20; J 11,40; Sk 14,9
24Otec toho chlapce hned vykřikl a říkal: „Věřím, ▼▼J 9,38
pomáhej mé nevíře!“ 25Když Ježíš uviděl, že se sbíhá zástup, pohrozil tomu nečistému duchu: ▼▼1,26
„Duchu němý a hluchý, já ti přikazuji, vyjdi z něho a už do něho nikdy nevstupuj!“ 26Ten vykřikl a silně jím zalomcoval ▼▼1,26; L 9,39†
a vyšel. Chlapec zůstal ▼▼ř.: stal se
jako mrtvý, takže mnozí říkali, že zemřel. 27Ježíš uchopil jeho ruku, probudil ▼▼n.: pozvedl
ho a on vstal. 28Když Ježíš vešel do domu, ▼▼7,17
jeho učedníci se ho v soukromí ▼▼4,34
ptali: „Proč jsme ho nemohli vyhnat my?“ 29Řekl jim: „Tento rod nemůže vyjít jinak, než v modlitbě [a půstu].“ 30A vyšli odtamtud a procházeli Galileou a nechtěl, aby ho někdo poznal. 31Vyučoval totiž své učedníky a říkal jim: „Syn ▼▼//L 9,44—45
člověka je vydáván do rukou lidí a ti ho zabijí. A až bude zabit, ⌈po třech dnech⌉ ▼▼var.: třetí den
vstane.“ 32Oni však tomu výroku nerozuměli, ▼▼L 2,50; 18,34
ale báli se ho zeptat. 33Kdo je největší?

a řekl jim: „Chce–li být někdo první, bude poslední ze všech a služebník ▼▼10,43
všech.“ 36A vzal dítě a postavil je doprostřed nich; pak je vzal do náručí ▼▼10,16
a řekl jim: 37„Kdokoli přijme jedno z takových dětí na základě mého jména, mne přijímá; a kdo by mne přijímal, nepřijímá mne, ale toho, který mne poslal.“ ▼▼//Mt 10,40; J 13,20
38Kdo není proti nám, je pro nás
Jan mu říkal: „Učiteli, ▼▼v. 17; //L 9,49
viděli jsme někoho, jak ve tvém jménu vyhání démony, a bránili jsme mu v tom, protože nechodil s námi.“ 39Ježíš však řekl: „Nebraňte mu, neboť není nikdo, kdo na základě mého jména učiní mocný čin, aby o mně mohl brzy nato promluvit zle. 40Vždyť kdo není proti nám, je pro nás. 41Neboť kdo by vám dal napít číši vody proto, ▼▼Mt 10,41; 5.: ve jménu toho,

42Varujte se pohoršení a svodů

How do I do a word study?

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
