a daly své lampy do pořádku. 8Pošetilé řekly rozumným: 'Dejte nám ze svého oleje, neboť naše lampy dohasínají!' 9Ale rozumné odpověděly: 'Ne, nemuselo by vystačit pro nás i pro vás. svého pána.' 22Přistoupil také ten, [který dostal] dva talenty a řekl: 'Pane, dva talenty jsi mi svěřil; hle, jiné dva talenty jsem získal.' 23Jeho pán mu řekl: 'Dobře, otroku dobrý a věrný, byl jsi věrný nad málem, ustanovím tě nad mnohým; vejdi v radost svého pána.' 24Přistoupil pak i ten, který dostal jeden talent, a řekl: 'Pane, poznal jsem, že jsi tvrdý člověk; sklízíš, kde jsi nezasel, a shromažďuješ, kde jsi nerozsypal. 25Dostal jsem strach, ▼▼Př 26,13; 29,25; Ř 8,15; 1Tm 1,7; Zj 21,8

vzal, co je moje, i s úrokem. 28Vezměte tedy od něho ten talent a dejte tomu, který má deset talentů! 29Neboť každému, kdo má, bude dáno a bude mít hojnost. Tomu, kdo nemá, však bude odňato i to, co má. ▼▼13,12

How do I do a word study?
- What information can I find about a word?

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
