The Widow’s Offering
1 aJesus ▼▼Greek He
looked up and saw the rich cputting their gifts into dthe offering box, 2and he saw a poor widow put in two esmall copper coins. ▼▼Greek two lepta; a lepton was a Jewish bronze or copper coin worth about 1/128 of a denarius (which was a day’s wage for a laborer)
3And he said, “Truly, I tell you, gthis poor widow has put in more than all of them. 4For they all contributed out of their abundance, but she out of her hpoverty put in all ishe had to live on.” Jesus Foretells Destruction of the Temple
5 jAnd while some were speaking of the temple, how it was adorned with noble stones and offerings, he said, 6“As for these things that you see, kthe days will come when there will not be left here one stone upon another that will not be thrown down.” 7And they asked him, “Teacher, lwhen will these things be, and what will be the sign when these things are about to take place?” 8And he said, m“See that you are not led astray. How do I do a word study?

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
