Proverbs 15
1 aA soft answer turns away wrath,but ba harsh word stirs up anger.
2The tongue of the wise commends knowledge,
but cthe mouths of fools pour out folly.
3 dThe eyes of the Lord are in every place,
keeping watch on the evil and the good.

14 zThe heart of him who has understanding seeks knowledge,

but he who hates axbribes will live.

29The Lord is bafar from the wicked,
but he bbhears the prayer of the righteous.

How do I do a word study?
- What information can I find about a word?
- Meaning: how the word is used throughout the Bible

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
