Pois se, Herra varjelkoon! Vaan ota nyt keihäs hänen päänpohjistaan ja vesiastia, ja sitten menkäämme." 12Ja Daavid otti keihään ja vesiastian Saulin päänpohjista, ja sitten he menivät tiehensä. Mitä minä olen tehnyt, tahi mitä pahaa minulla on tekeillä? 19Kuulkoon nyt herrani, kuningas, mitä hänen palvelijansa sanoo: Jos Herra on yllyttänyt sinut minua vastaan, niin saakoon hän tuntea ruokauhrin hajua; mutta jos sen ovat tehneet ihmiset, niin olkoot he kirotut Herran edessä, koska tänä päivänä karkoittavat minut pois Herran perintöosasta, sanoen: 'Mene ja palvele muita jumalia'. 20Älköön kuitenkaan minun vereni vuotako maahan siellä kaukana Herran kasvoista. Niin, Israelin kuningas on lähtenyt liikkeelle etsimään yhtä kirppua, niinkuin ajetaan peltokanaa vuorilla." 21Niin Saul sanoi: "Minä olen tehnyt syntiä. How do I do a word study?

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
