1Und die Königin von Schaba hörte das Gerücht von Salomoh ob des Namens Jehovahs, und kam, ihn zu versuchen mit Rätseln. 2Und sie kam nach Jerusalem mit sehr gewaltigem ▼▼schwerem
Gefolge ▼▼Streitmacht
, mit Kamelen, die Gewürze und sehr viel Gold und kostbares Gestein trugen; und sie kam zu Salomoh und redete mit ihm über alles, was in ihrem Herzen war. 3Und Salomoh sagte ihr an alle ihre Worte. Kein Wort war verborgen von dem Könige, das er ihr nicht ansagte. 4Und die Königin von Schaba sah alle Weisheit Salomohs, und das Haus, das er gebaut hatte. 5Und die Speise für seinen Tisch und die Wohnung ▼▼Wohnsitz
seiner Knechte, und den Stand seiner Diener und ihre Bekleidung, und seine Mundschenken, und sein Brandopfer, das er am Hause Jehovahs opferte; und es war kein Geist mehr in ihr. 6Und sie sprach zum König: Wahr ist das Wort, das ich in meinem Lande hörte von deinen Worten und von deiner Weisheit. 7Und ich glaubte nicht den Worten, bis ich kam und meine Augen es sahen; und siehe, nicht die Hälfte wurde mir angesagt, du tust noch hinzu Weisheit und Gutes zu dem Gerüchte, das ich gehört hatte, 8Selig sind deine Männer, selig diese deine Knechte, die beständig vor dir stehen, die deine Weisheit hören. 9Gesegnet sei Jehovah, dein Gott, Der Lust zu dir hat und dich auf Israels Thron gegeben. Weil Jehovah Israel liebt ewiglich, hat Er dich zum König gesetzt, auf daß du Recht und Gerechtigkeit tuest. 10Und sie gab dem König hundertzwanzig Talente Goldes und sehr viel Gewürze und kostbares Gestein. Nicht kam wieder so viel Gewürz herein, als die Königin von Schaba dem König Salomoh gab. 11Und auch Chirams Schiffe, die Gold aus Ophir trugen, brachten aus Ophir sehr viel Almugimholz und kostbares Gestein herein. 12Und der König machte aus dem Almugimholz Geländer für das Haus Jehovahs und für das Haus des Königs, und Harfen und Psalter für die Sänger, und ist kein solches Almugimholz ins Land gekommen, noch gesehen worden bis auf diesen Tag. 13Und der König Salomoh gab der Königin von Schaba alles, woran sie Lust hatte, um was sie bat, außer dem, was ihr Salomoh gab nach seiner königlichen Hand. Und sie wandte sich und zog nach ihrem Land, sie und ihre Knechte. 14Und das Gewicht des Goldes, das dem Salomoh in einem Jahre hereinkam, war sechshundertsechsundsechzig Talente Gold. 15Ohne das von den Krämerleuten und dem Handel der Kaufleute und all den Königen Arabiens und den Statthaltern des Landes. 16Und der König Salomoh ließ zweihundert Schilde von geschlagenem Golde machen, und auf einen Schild kamen sechshundert Goldstücke; 17Und dreihundert Tartschen von geschlagenem Golde, drei Minen Goldes kamen auf eine Tartsche; und der König gab sie in das Haus zum Walde Libanon. 18Und der König machte einen großen Thron von Elfenbein, und überzog ihn mit geläutertem Golde, 19Sechs Stufen waren am Thron, und der obere Teil ▼▼das Haupt

waren zu beiden Seiten ▼▼hier und dort
am Orte des Sitzes, und zwei Löwen standen neben den Armlehnen ▼▼Händen
. 20Und zwölf Löwen standen da auf den sechs Stufen auf beiden Seiten ▼▼hier und dort

Solches ward nie gemacht in irgendwelchen Königreichen. 21Und alle Trinkgefäße des Königs Salomoh waren von Gold, sowie alle Geräte des Hauses zum Walde Libanon von gediegenem Golde waren, keines von Silber; denn dies ward in den Tagen Salomohs als nichts gerechnet. 22Denn der König hatte Tharschischschiffe mit Chirams Schiffen auf dem Meer, und einmal in drei Jahren kamen die Tharschischschiffe und brachten Gold und Silber, Elfenbein und Affen und Pfauen. 23Und König Salomoh ward an Reichtum und an Weisheit größer denn alle Könige der Erde. 24Und alle Lande suchten Salomohs Angesicht, daß sie seine Weisheit hörten, die Gott ihm ins Herz gegeben hatte. 25Und sie brachten, jeder Mann sein Geschenk ▼▼Speiseopfer
, silberne Geräte und goldene Geräte, und Gewänder und Waffen, und Gewürze, Rosse und Maultiere, Jahr für Jahr ▼▼das Wort eines Jahres im Jahr
. 26Und Salomoh sammelte Streitwagen und Reiter, und hatte tausendvierhundert Streitwagen und zwölftausend Reiter, und stellte sie in die Wagenstädte und beim König in Jerusalem. 27Und der König machte ▼▼gab
das Silber in Jerusalem wie die Steine, und die Zedern machte ▼▼gab
er wie die Sykomoren in der Niederung an Menge. 28Und die Ausfuhr an Pferden für Salomoh war aus Ägypten. Ein Zug von Händlern des Königs holte einen Zug um den Kaufpreis. 29Und es kam herauf und ward ausgeführt aus Ägypten ein Streitwagen um sechshundert Silberlinge und ein Pferd um hundertfünfzig; und so wurden auch für alle Könige der Chethiter und für die Könige Arams durch ihre Hand ausgeführt.

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
