Wana Wa Reubeni
1 aWana wa Reubeni mzaliwa wa kwanza wa Israeli (yeye alikuwa mzaliwa wa kwanza, lakini kwa kuwa alikinajisi kitanda cha baba yake, haki zake za mzaliwa wa kwanza walipewa wana wa Yosefu mwana wa Israeli. Hivyo hakuorodheshwa kwenye orodha ya ukoo wao kulingana na haki yake ya kuzaliwa. 2 bNa ingawa Yuda alikuwa na nguvu zaidi ya ndugu zake wote, na mtawala alitoka kwake, haki za mzaliwa wa kwanza zilikuwa za Yosefu.) 3 cWana wa Reubeni mzaliwa wa kwanza wa Israeli walikuwa:Hanoki, Palu, Hesroni na Karmi.
4Wazao wa Yoeli walikuwa:
Shemaya mwanawe, Gogu mwanawe;
Shimei mwanawe, 5Mika mwanawe,
Reaya mwanawe, Baali mwanawe,
6 dna Beera mwanawe, ambaye Tiglath-Pileseri mfalme wa Ashuru alimchukua kwenda uhamishoni. Beera alikuwa kiongozi wa Wareubeni.
7 eJamaa zao kulingana na koo zao, walioorodheshwa kwa kufuata koo zao kama ifuatavyo:
Yeieli aliyekuwa mkuu wao, Zekaria, 8 fBela mwana wa Azazi, mwana wa Shema, mwana wa Yoeli. Hao waliishi katika eneo kuanzia Aroeri mpaka Nebo na Baal-Meoni. 9 gKwa upande wa mashariki walienea hadi pembeni mwa jangwa linaloenea mpaka kwenye Mto Frati, kwa sababu mifugo yao ilikuwa imeongezeka huko Gileadi.
10 hWakati wa utawala wa Mfalme Sauli, walipigana vita dhidi ya Wahagari, wakaanguka kwa mikono yao, kisha wakaishi katika mahema ya Wahagari katika eneo lote la mashariki ya Gileadi.

11 iWagadi waliishi jirani nao katika nchi ya Bashani, mpaka Saleka.12Yoeli ndiye alikuwa mkuu wao, Shafamu wa pili, na wakafuata Yanai na Shafati, huko Bashani.
13Ndugu zao kulingana na koo zao walikuwa saba:
Mikaeli, Meshulamu, Sheba, Yorai, Yakani, Zia na Eberi.
14Hawa walikuwa ndio wana wa Abihaili mwana wa Huri, mwana wa Yaroa, mwana wa Gileadi, mwana wa Mikaeli, mwana wa Yeshishai, mwana wa Yahdo, mwana wa Buzi.
15Ahi mwana wa Abdieli, mwana wa Guni, alikuwa ndiye kiongozi wa jamaa yao.
16 jWagadi waliishi Gileadi, huko Bashani pamoja na vijiji vilivyoizunguka, pia katika nchi yote ya malisho ya Sharoni kote walikoenea.
17 kYote haya yaliwekwa katika kumbukumbu za ukoo wao wakati wa utawala wa Yothamu, mfalme wa Yuda na Yeroboamu mfalme wa Israeli.
18 lWareubeni, Wagadi na nusu ya kabila la Manase walikuwa na watu mashujaa 44,760 waliokuwa wameandaliwa kwa ajili ya vita: watu wenye nguvu, hodari wa kutumia ngao na upanga, mashujaa wa kutumia upinde, waliokuwa tayari kwa ajili ya kazi hiyo. 19 mWalipigana vita dhidi ya Wahagari, Yeturi, Nafishi na Nodabu. 20 nWalisaidiwa katika kupigana nao, Mungu akawatia Wahagari pamoja na wote walioungana nao mikononi mwao, kwa sababu walimlilia Mungu wakati wa vita. Alijibu maombi yao, kwa sababu walimtegemea. 21Walitwaa mifugo ya Wahagari: ngamia 50,000, kondoo 250,000, punda 2,000. Pia wakateka watu 100,000, 22 ona wengine wengi waliuawa kwa sababu vita vilikuwa ni vya Mungu. Nao waliendelea kuikalia nchi hiyo mpaka wakati wa uhamisho.
Nusu Ya Kabila La Manase
23 pIdadi ya nusu ya kabila la Manase walikuwa wengi sana, Wakakaa kuanzia Bashani hadi Baal-Hermoni, yaani mpaka Seniri na mlima Hermoni.24Hawa ndio waliokuwa viongozi wa jamaa za kabila hilo: Eferi, Ishi, Elieli, Azrieli, Yeremia, Hodavia na Yahdieli. Walikuwa askari shujaa watu maarufu, viongozi wa jamaa zao. 25 qLakini hawakuwa waaminifu kwa Mungu wa baba zao, nao wakafanya ukahaba kwa miungu ya mataifa, ambayo Mungu alikuwa ameyaangamiza mbele yao. 26 rKwa hiyo Mungu wa Israeli akaiamsha roho ya Pulu, mfalme wa Ashuru (ambaye pia alijulikana kama Tiglath-Pileseri), ambaye aliwachukua Wareubeni, Wagadi na nusu ya kabila la Manase kwenda uhamishoni. Akawapeleka huko Hala, Habori, Hara na mto Gozani, ambako wamekaa mpaka leo.

How do I do a word study?

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
