De stam van Gad gaf hun ten slotte Ramot in Gilead, Machanaïm, 1Chesbon en Jazer. Ook hier kregen zij de erbij behorende weidegronden bij. 2Vervolg op de stamboom van de zonen van Israël
3De vier zonen van Issachar waren Tola, Pua, Jasub en Simron. 4De zonen van Tola, ieder het hoofd van een familie, waren Uzzi, Refaja, Jeriël, Jachmai, Jibsam en Semuël. In de tijd van koning David bedroeg het totaal aantal strijdbare mannen van deze families tweeëntwintigduizend zeshonderd. 5Uzziʼs zoon was Jizrachja, onder wiens vijf zonen zich Michaël, Obadja, Joël en Jissia bevonden. Ieder van hen stond aan het hoofd van een familie. 6In de tijd van koning David konden hun nakomelingen zesendertigduizend mannen in het strijdperk brengen. De mannen van deze bevolkingsgroep hadden namelijk meer dan één vrouw en dus nogal wat zonen. 7De families van de stam van Issachar konden samen zevenentachtigduizend heldhaftige mannen leveren voor het leger. Allen waren ingeschreven in de officiële geslachtsregisters. 8De zonen van Benjamin waren Bela, Becher en Jediaël. 9De zonen van Bela waren Esbon, Uzzi, Uzziël, Jerimot en Iri. Deze vijf geduchte strijders waren familiehoofden. Hun families telden 22.034 mannen. Ook deze kwamen weer allemaal voor in de officiële registers. 10De zonen van Becher waren Zemira, Joas, Eliëzer, Eliënai, Omri, Jeremot, Abia, Anatot en Alemet. 11In de tijd van David telden hun nakomelingen 20.200 geharde soldaten, die onder bevel stonden van hun familiehoofden. 12De zoon van Jediaël heette Bilhan en deze Bilhan had de volgende zonen: Jeüs, Benjamin, Ehud, Kenaäna, Zetan, Tarsis en Achisachar. 13Zij waren de hoofden van de families van Jediaël en in de tijd van koning David bevonden zich 17.200 weerbare mannen onder hun nakomelingen. 14De zonen van Ir heetten Suppim en Chuppim. Chusim was de zoon van Acher. 15De zonen van Naftali, en dus nakomelingen van Jakobs vrouw Bilha, waren Jachasiël, Guni, Jeser en Sallum. 16De zonen van Manasse, kinderen van zijn Aramese bijvrouw, waren Asriël en Machir. Deze laatste werd de vader van Gilead. 17Het was Machir die vrouwen vond voor Suppim en Chuppim. Machirs zuster was Maächa. Een andere nakomeling was Selofchad, die alleen maar dochters had. 18Machirs vrouw, die ook Maächa heette, bracht een zoon ter wereld, die zij Peres noemde. Peresʼ broer heette Seres en hij noemde zijn zonen Ulam en Rekem. 19Ulams zoon heette Bedan. Dit waren dus de zonen van Gilead, de kleinzonen van Machir en de achterkleinzonen van Manasse. 20Machirs zuster Molechet bracht Ishod, Abiëzer en Machla ter wereld. 21De zonen van Semida waren Achjan, Sechem, Likchi en Aniam. 22 ▼▼ This verse is empty because in this translation its contents have been moved to form part of verse 1.Krøn. 7:21.

De nakomelingen van Efraïm waren Sutelach, zijn zoon Bered, Bereds zoon Tachat, diens zoon Elada, Eladaʼs zoon Tachat, diens zoon Zabad, Zabads zoon Sutelach, en Efraïms zonen Ezer en Elad. Elad en Ezer trachtten in de buurt van Gat vee te roven, maar werden daarbij gedood door de mannen van Gat. 24Hun vader Efraïm rouwde lange tijd om hen en zijn broers probeerden hem te troosten. 25Kort daarop raakte zijn vrouw in verwachting en bracht een kind ter wereld, dat hij Beria (wat ‘ellende’ betekent) noemde om wat er was gebeurd. 26Efraïms dochter heette Seëra. Hier volgt Efraïms stamboom: Refach, de broer van Resef, de vader van Telach, de vader van Tachan, de vader van Ladan, de vader van Ammihud, de vader van Elisama, de vader van Nun, de vader van Jozua. 30Zij woonden in een gebied dat werd begrensd door Betel en de omringende dorpen, in het oosten door Naäran, in het westen door Gezer en de bijbehorende dorpen en ten slotte door Sichem met zijn voorsteden tot aan Ajja, met de omliggende dorpen. 31De stam van Manasse, nakomelingen van Israëls zoon Jozef, beheersten de volgende steden en de gebieden daaromheen: Bet-San, Taänach, Megiddo en Dor. 32De zonen van Aser waren Jimna, Jiswa, Jiswi, Beria en hun zuster Serach. 33De zonen van Beria waren Cheber en Malkiël, de vader van Bir-Zaït. 34Chebers kinderen waren Jaflet, Somer, Chotam en hun zuster Sua. 35Jaflets zonen waren Pasach, Bimhal en Aswat. 36De zonen van zijn broer Somer waren Achi, Roga, Jechubba en Aram. 37De zonen van zijn broer Chotam waren Sofach, Jimna, Seles en Amal. 38 ▼▼ This verse is empty because in this translation its contents have been moved to form part of verse 1.Krøn. 7:37.

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
