1Zgledujte se po meni, kot se jaz zgledujem po Kristusu. 2Tako vesel sem, dragi bratje, da se ravnate po mojih navodilih. ▼▼V izvirniku: da se držite zapovedi, kakor sem vam jih izročil.
3Še nekaj je, na kar bi vas rad spomnil. Žena je podrejena temu, ki je njej glava, mož je podrejen temu, ki je njemu glava in Kristus tudi temu, ki je njemu glava. 4Zato mož, ki moli ali prerokuje s pokrito glavo, onečašča tega, ki mu je glava. 5V nasprotju s tem pa žena, ki nima pokrite glave, kadar moli ali prerokuje, onečašča tega, ki je njej glava. 6Če žena ne pokriva glave, naj si tudi ostriže vse lase. Če pa je za ženo sramota, da si ostriže lase kratko ali celo obrije glavo, naj pokriva glavo. 7Mož naj ne pokriva glave, kajti ustvarjen je po Božji podobi in Bogu na slavo. ▼▼V izvirniku: ker je podoba in slava Božja.
Žena pa je moževa slava. 8Prvega človeka ni rodila žena, Evo pa, prvo ženo je naredil Bog iz moža. 9Kakor poroča zgodba o ustvarjanju, Bog tudi ni ustvaril moža za ženo, temveč ženo za moža. 10Zato in zaradi angelov, ki bedijo nad redom, ki ga je vpeljal Bog, naj žena nosi na glavi znak avtoritete. 11Zapomnite pa si, da sta po Božjem redu mož in žena ustvarjena drug za drugega. ▼▼V izvirniku: Sicer pa ni ne mož brez žene, ne žena brez moža v Gospodu.
12Četudi je bila Eva ustvarjena iz Adama, so vendarle žene rodile vse druge moške. Oba torej, mož in žena, sta Božje stvarstvo. 13Razsodite sami, če se spodobi, da žena brez pokrivala moli v javnosti! 14Ali ne mislite, da je za moškega sramota, če nosi dolge lase, 15medtem ko se ženi prav lepo podajo? Dolgi lasje so ji za pokrivalo. 16Če pa se kdo glede tega hoče prepirati, bi vam rad samo povedal, da niti pri nas, niti v kaki drugi Božji cerkvi na bogoslužju ne ravnajo drugače. Kako naj imajo kristjani obred Gospodove večerje?
17Druga stvar, o kateri bi se rad pogovoril z vami, je zopet nekaj, kar me zelo moti. Zdi se mi, da vam bolj škoduje, da se sestajate, kakor koristi. 18Slišim, kakšne razprave imate kadar se zberete in kako se razhajate v mišljenju in prav lahko verjamem, da je to res. 19Potrebno je namreč, da so med vami tudi razlike, da se pokaže, kdo je v veri preizkušen. 20Ko se zberete, da bi jedli, ne jeste Gospodove večerje 21temveč svojo večerjo. Vsak namreč jé in pije to, kar je prinesel s seboj in tako ostane nekdo lačen in žejen, medtem ko ima drugi toliko, da je celo pijan. 22Ali ne bi bilo bolje, če bi kar doma jedli in pili. Tako vsaj ne bi delali sramote cerkvi in ne bi dajali povoda revnim, da se sramujejo, ker nimajo kaj vzeti s seboj. Kaj naj sploh rečem o tem? Ne pričakujte, da vas bom morda pohvalil.23Gospod sam mi je dal navodila, kako naj se ravnamo pri večerji Gospodovi in to sem vam tudi posredoval: Tisto noč, ko ga je Juda izdal, je Jezus je vzel kruh, 24zanj se je zahvalil Bogu in ga razdelil, medtem ko je govoril: “To je moje telo, ki ga žrtvujem za vas. Mislite na to, vsakokrat ko jeste ta kruh!” 25Potem je vzel kelih in je govoril: “Ta kelih je nova zaveza med Bogom in vami, ki sem jo zapečatil s svojo krvjo. Mislite na to, vsakokrat ko pijete iz njega!” 26Vsakokrat kadar jeste ta kruh in pijete iz tega keliha, spominjate drug drugega na Gospodovo smrt. Delajte tako vse do njegovega ponovnega prihoda. 27Kdor pa jé ta kruh in pije iz Gospodovega keliha brez razmišljanja ali pa lahkomiselno ▼

se je pregrešil zoper Gospodovo telo in kri. 28Zato naj vsak preizkuša samega sebe, preden jé ta kruh in pije iz tega keliha. 29Kdor namreč vzame ta kruh in ne misli pri tem na Kristusovo telo in kri, izroča sam sebe Božji sodbi. 30Zato so tako mnogi med vami slabi in bolni, da ne govorim o tistih, ki so že pomrli. 31Če sami sebe preizkušate, preden jeste, vas Bog ne bo sodil in kaznoval. 32Če pa nam Gospod sodi in nas kaznuje, je to zato, ker nas vzgaja, da nas ne bi moral obsoditi skupaj z brezbožnim svetom. 33Zato, dragi bratje, čakajte drug drugega, kadar ste skupaj pri jedi. 34Kdor je lačen, naj poprej doma nekaj poje, da si ne boste nakopali Božje sodbe, kadar se sestajate. Vse drugo pa bom razčistil z vami, kadar pridem.

How do I do a word study?

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
