Luke 17
Odpuščanje ne pozna meja
(Matej 18,6-7.15.21-22; Marko 9,42)
1“Vedno bo dovolj skušnjav, ki zavajajo v greh,” je Jezus nekega dne dejal svojim učencem, “toda gorje tistemu človeku po katerem pride skušnjava! 2Bolje bi se mu godilo, če bi mu okrog vratu obesili mlinski kamen in ga vrgli v morje, kot da ga zadene kazen, ki čaka vse tiste, ki ranijo duše ‘malih’ ljudi. 3Pokarajte brata, ki greši in odpustite mu, če mu je žal tega, kar je storil! 4Če sedemkrat na dan pogreši in vsakokrat prosi odpuščanja, mu odpustite!”Mala vera v velikega Boga

5Učenci so prosili Jezusa: “Gospod, potrebno nam je več vere. Povej nam, kaj naj storimo?” 6Odgovoril jim je: “Ko bi bila vaša vera samo tolikšna, kot je seme gorčice, bi zadostovala, da bi zapovedali tej murvi: ‘Izpuli se iz zemlje in presadi se v morje!’ – in to bi se takoj zgodilo.Samoumevna služba
7Ko pride služabnik, ki je oral, ali pa čuval ovce, domov, ne sede takoj za mizo in jé. 8Najprej pripravi obed gospodarju in mu postreže, potem pa sam sede in večerja. 9Nobene posebne pohvale ne bo dobil zaradi tega, saj je to njegova dolžnost. 10Enako velja tudi za vas. Ko ste v moji službi storili vse, kar sem vam naložil, potem lahko rečete: ‘Storili smo samo to, kar je bila naša dolžnost!’ ”Samo eden se zahvali
11Ko so nadaljevali pot proti Jeruzalemu, so prišli do meje med Galilejo in Samarijo. 12V neki vasi jih je srečalo deset gobavcev. Obstali so v predpisani razdalji 13in kričali: “Jezus, Gospod! Usmili se nas!” 14Pogledal jih je in jim zapovedal: “Pojdite k duhovniku in mu pokažite, da ste zdravi!” Po poti so ozdraveli. 15Eden izmed njih je tekel nazaj k Jezusu, ko je opazil, da je zdrav. Glasno je hvalil Boga. 16Vrgel se je predenj in se mu zahvalil za to, kar je storil. To je bil neki mož iz Samarije. 17Jezus ga je vprašal: “Ali nisem ozdravil deset mož? Kje pa je preostalih devet? 18Zakaj se vrača samo ta tujec, da bi se zahvalil Bogu?” 19Samarijanu pa je rekel: “Vstani! Tvoja vera te je ozdravila!”Kaj se bo zgodilo, kadar Jezus zopet pride?

20“Kdaj pa bo nastopilo Božje kraljestvo?” so hoteli izvedeti farizeji. Jezus jim je odgovoril: “Božje kraljestvo ne bo prišlo z nekimi vidnimi znaki. 21Nihče vam ne bo mogel reči: ‘Tukaj je!’ ali ‘Tam je!’ Božje kraljestvo je med vami.”22Pozneje se je spet pogovarjal s svojimi učenci o tem. “Prišel bo čas, ko boste hrepeneli po Božjem Sinu in boste želeli, da bi bil z vami vsaj en dan. Toda ta želja se vam ne bo izpolnila. 23Mnogi vas bodo hoteli prepričati, da je Sin človekov že prišel in da so ga videli tu ali tam. Nikakor jim ne verjemite in ne hodite nikamor, da bi ga iskali. 24Ko bo Sin človekov prišel, bo namreč to vsak vedel. Tako opazno bo to kot je blisk, ki zažari od vzhoda do zahoda. 25Pred tem pa mora Sin človekov še veliko pretrpeti in dopustiti, da ga narod zavrže.”

26“V času njegove vrnitve na zemljo bodo ljudje (tako nezainteresirani za tisto, kar je Božje), kot so bili v Noetovem času. 27Tudi takrat so mislili samo na hrano, pijačo in na ženitev. Tako je bilo vse do dne, ko je Noe šel v barko. Potem je prišla povodenj in nihče ni ostal pri življenju. 28Tako bo, kot je bilo v Lotovem času. Ljudje so opravljali svoje vsakodnevne posle, jedli so in pili, kupovali in prodajali ter orali in gradili. 29Tako je bilo vse do tistega jutra, ko je Lot zapustil Sodomo. Takrat je padal ogenj in žveplo z neba in vsi so zgoreli v plamenih. 30Ljudje se bodo ukvarjali z vsakdanjimi posli vse do tiste ure, ko bo prišel Sin človekov. 31Kdor prav tedaj ni doma, naj se ne vrača, da bi vzel svoje stvari. Kdor dela na polju, naj se ne vrača v mesto. 32Spomnite se, kaj se je zgodilo z Lotovo ženo! 33Kdor se z vsemi močmi oklepa svojega življenja, ga bo izgubil. Kdor pa izgubi svoje življenje, ga bo ohranil.”(Matej 24,40-41)
34“Tudi to se bo zgodilo ob času moje vrnitve: Dva bosta tisto noč spala v isti postelji. Eden bo vzet, drugi bo ostal. 35Dve ženi bosta skupaj opravljali svoje gospodinjske posle. Ena bo vzeta, druga bo ostala. 36Tako se bo tudi zgodilo dvema, ki bosta eden poleg drugega delala na polju.” 37“Gospod, kam pa bodo vzeti?” so vprašali učenci. Jezus jim je odgovoril s pregovorom: “Kjer je mrhovina, tam se zbirajo jastrebi.”

How do I do a word study?

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
