“Ne dajte miru Bogu!”
1Nekega dne je Jezus povedal učencem zgodbo, s katero jim je želel pojasniti, kako pomembno je neprestano moliti, vse dotlej dokler ne dobijo odgovor: 2“V nekem mestu je živel brezbožen sodnik, ki se ni menil za ljudi. 3Prav tako je bila tu žena, ki je vsak dan prihajala k njemu in moledovala: ‘Pomagaj mi doseči pravico v sporu z mojim nasprotnikom!’ 4– 5Toda pri njem je vedno znova naletela na gluha ušesa, dokler končno le ni izgubil potrpljenja. ‘Ne menim se niti za Boga niti za ljudi, toda vidim, da mi ta žena ne bo dala miru, dokler ji ne bom pomagal. Poskrbel bom, da bo dobila, kar želi, da me ne bo kar naprej vznemirjala.’ ” 6Gospod je pripomnil: “Slišali ste, kaj je rekel krivični sodnik! 7Ali mislite, da bo Bog zavrnil svoje otroke in jim ne bo pomagal, če ga dan in noč za nekaj prosijo? 8Zagotavljam vam, da jim bo hitro odgovoril. Vprašanje pa je: ko se bom jaz, Mesija, vrnil, koliko ljudi bo imelo vero (in molilo)?”Molitev, ki jo Bog sliši
9Z neko prispodobo je Jezus želel spregovoriti ljudem, ki so mislili, da so pravični in so zviška gledali na druge: 10“Dva moža, farizej in carinik, sta šla v tempelj, da bi molila. 11Poln zaupanja vase je vstopil farizej in je molil: ‘Zahvaljujem se ti, Bog, da nisem tak, kakršni so drugi ljudje, posebno ne kot tale carinik. Nikoli nisem nikogar prevaral, nisem nezvest svoji ženi, 12postim se dvakrat na teden in Bogu dajem desetino od vsega, kar zaslužim.’ 13Carinik pa je obstal pri vratih in si je komaj upal dvigniti pogled. Zavedal se je svoje krivde in je molil: ‘Bog! Odpusti mi, kajti vem, da sem grešnik.’ 14Vedite, da je ta mož šel domov prost svoje krivde, ni pa bilo tako s farizejem. Kajti ponosni bodo ponižani in ponižani bodo počaščeni.”Samo za otroke

15Nekega dne je nekaj mater privedlo k Jezusu svoje otroke, da bi položil nanje roke in jih blagoslovil. Učenci so jih hoteli odgnati. 16Jezus pa je pozval otroke k sebi ter je pokaral učence: “Pustite otroke, naj pridejo k meni! Ne odganjajte jih. Božje kraljestvo je namreč pripravljeno prav za ljudi, ki so kot otroci. 17Ali še vedno niste doumeli: kdor ne sprejme Božjega kraljestva kot otrok, ne pride vanj.”Bogatašem tega primanjkuje

18Nek ugleden in bogat človek je vprašal Jezusa: “Dobri učitelj, kaj moram storiti, da bi podedoval večno življenje?” 19Jezus je odvrnil: “Zakaj me imenuješ dobrega? Samo eden je, ki je dober in to je Bog. 20Odgovoril pa ti bom na tvoje vprašanje. Božje zapovedi poznaš: ‘Ne prešuštvuj! Ne ubij! Ne kradi! Ne govori nič slabega o drugih ljudeh in ne širi laži ter spoštuj svoje starše!’ ” 21Mož mu je zagotovil: “Vse te zapovedi sem izpolnjeval od otroštva.” 22“Nekaj ti kljub temu manjka,” je rekel Jezus. “Prodaj vse, kar imaš in daj denar ubogim. Tako si boš pridobil bogastvo v nebesih, ki ga več ne boš mogel izgubiti. Potem pa pridi in hodi z menoj!” 23Ko je mož to slišal, je potrt odšel, kajti bil je zelo bogat. 24Jezus je gledal za njim in dejal: “Kako težko je bogatašem priti v nebeško kraljestvo! 25Laže je vdeti debelo vrv v uho igle, kot bogatašu priti v Božje kraljestvo.” 26“Če je to tako težko,” so ga vprašali poslušalci, “ali se potem sploh kdo more rešiti?” 27Odgovoril je: “Za ljudi je to nemogoče, ne pa tudi za Boga!” 28Peter je smelo dejal: “Mi smo se odrekli vsega zaradi tebe in smo krenili s teboj!” 29“Da,” je potrdil Jezus, “vsak, ki je pripravljen postaviti Božje kraljestvo na prvo mesto, pred svojo hišo, ženo, brate, sestre, starše, ali otroke ▼▼V izvirniku: … zapustiti.
30bo dobil za to bogato nagrado že tukaj na zemlji, še mnogo več pa potem v prihodnjem svetu ter povrhu še večno življenje.” Jezus govori tretjič o svoji smrti

31Jezus je poklical k sebi svojih dvanajst učencev in jim dejal: “Veste, da gremo v Jeruzalem. Tam se bo izpolnilo vse, kar so preroki napisali o Sinu človekovem. 32Izročili ga bodo Rimljanom, zasramovali ga bodo, mučili, pljuvali in 33končno bičali in umorili. Toda tri dni pozneje bo vstal od mrtvih.” 34Učenci tega nikakor niso razumeli. Zaman so si razbijali glave: “Le kaj nam je Jezus s tem hotel povedati?”Slepi, ki se ni dal ugnati

35Jezus in njegovi učenci so bili na poti proti Jerihu. Blizu mesta je sedel slep človek ob cesti in prosjačil. 36Slišal je hrup množice, ki je prihajala in radovedno je vprašal: “Kaj se dogaja?” 37Nekdo mu je zaklical: “Jezus iz Nazareta prihaja v Jeriho!” 38Ko je to slišal, je glasno zakričal: “Jezus, Davidov sin, pomagaj mi!” 39Ljudje, ki so šli pred Jezusom, so ga poskušali utišati: “Umolkni!” On pa je le še glasneje kričal: “Davidov sin, usmili se me!” 40Jezus je obstal in rekel, naj mu pripeljejo moža. 41Vprašal ga je: “Kaj želiš, da ti storim?” “Gospod,” je prosil slepi, “rad bi videl.” 42“Videl boš,” mu je rekel Jezus. “Tvoje zaupanje te je rešilo.” 43Od tega trenutka dalje je mož videl. Krenil je z Jezusom in slavil Boga. Skupaj z njim so ga hvalili tudi drugi in se zahvaljevali za ozdravljenje, ki so mu bili priče.

How do I do a word study?

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
