Luke 21
Vlačili vas bodo v sinagoge in v ječe in postavljali pred vladarje in oblasti zato, ker priznavate moje ime. 13To bodo priložnosti, ko boste lahko govorili o meni in oznanjali mojo radostno novico. 16Celo vaši sorodniki, starši, bratje in prijatelji vas bodo izdajali in zapirali v ječe. Nekatere izmed vas bodo pomorili. 17Ves svet vas bo sovražil, ker ste moji. 18Vendar ne boste izgubili niti lasu z glave. 19Ostanite čvrsti, kajti tako si boste pridobili pravo življenje.”
Uničenje Jeruzalema
(Matej 24,15-21; Marko 13,14-19)
22Prišli so dnevi Božje sodbe. Strašna stiska bo prišla nad deželo in jeza nad to ljudstvo.
Ljudi bo prevzel strah in zbegani bodo zaradi divjanja morja in poplav.
