Prispodoba o sejalcu: Samo poslušati še ne pomeni verovati
(Matej 13,1-23; Luka 8,4-15)
1Spet se je zbrala velika množica ljudstva, ko je Jezus govoril ob jezeru. Zato je šel v čoln in od tam govoril ljudem na obali. 2Kar jim je želel povedati o Bogu, jim je pojasnjeval z raznimi primeri: 3“Poslušajte me! Neki kmet je posejal seme. 4Nekaj zrnja je padlo na pot. Ptice so ga takoj pozobale. 5Nekaj ga je padlo na skalnata tla, kjer je bila plast zemlje zelo tanka. Tu je seme sicer hitro pognalo; 6ko pa je pripekalo sonce, so rastlinice usahnile, ker v tanki plasti zemlje ni bilo dovolj vlage. 7Nekaj semena je padlo med trnje, ki se je tako razbohotilo, da je zadušilo mlade rastline. 8Preostalo seme je padlo na plodna tla in prineslo trideseteren, šestdeseteren in celo stoteren sad. 9Dobro prisluhnite temu, kar vam govorim!”10Pozneje, ko je Jezus s svojimi dvanajsterimi učenci in z nekaterimi drugimi spremljevalci ostal sam, so ga le-ti vprašali: “Zakaj pripoveduješ te primere?” 11Odgovoril jim je: “Vi razumete skrivnosti Božjega kraljestva. Drugim pa jih pojasnjujem s prispodobami, tako da
12‘lahko gledajo, pa ne vidijo in
poslušajo, pa ne razumejo,
sicer bi se mogli obrniti k Bogu,
on pa bi jim odpustil.’ ” ▼

13Istočasno pa je dejal svojim učencem: “Vidim, da tudi vi niste razumeli tega enostavnega primera. Kako boste potem doumeli vse ostalo? 14Kdor nosi Božjo besedo ljudem, je kot kmet, ki seje seme. 15Poteptana zemlja, na katero pade nekaj zrn, je slika trdosrčnih ljudi. Oni poslušajo Božje sporočilo, potem pa pride satan in jim vse odnese. 16Skalnata tla je slika ljudi, ki Božjo besedo sprejmejo hitro in z velikim navdušenjem. 17Žal pa beseda ne more prodreti dovolj globoko v njihova življenja. Začnejo dobro, če pa zaradi vere pridejo v težave, ali pa jih začno preganjati, se vere odrečejo. 18S trnjem porasla tla je slika ljudi, ki slišijo in sprejmejo Božje sporočilo. 19Le prehitro pa skrbi vsakdanjega življenja, želja za bogastvom in navezanost na stvari tega sveta zadušijo Božje sporočilo v njihovih srcih, tako da ne more roditi sadu. 20So pa tudi rodovitna tla: ljudje, ki Božjo besedo slišijo in sprejmejo v življenje, tako da rodi sad, trideseteren, šestdeseteren in stoteren.”
Slišati in poslušati
(Luka 8,16-18)
21Potem je Jezus vprašal poslušalce: “Ali prižgemo svetilko zato, da bi jo postavili pod vedro ali pod klop? Nasprotno! Prižgano svetilko postavimo na tako mesto, da razsvetljuje ves prostor. Samo tako lahko služi svojemu namenu. 22Vse, kar je zaenkrat še skrito, bo nekoč prišlo na dan. 23Če imate ušesa, poslušajte! 24Bodite pozorni na to, kar slišite! Vedite, da bo merilo, s katerim merite druge, veljalo tudi za vas. Pa ne samo to, še več bodo pričakovali od vas. 25Kajti kdor že nekaj ima, bo dobil še več, kdor pa nima nič, bo izgubil še tisto malo, kar ima.”Bog daje, da seme raste
26“Z Božjim kraljestvom je tako kot s semenom, ki ga kmet seje,” je Jezus dalje pojasnjeval. 27“Ko opravi delo, gre domov, spi in spet vstane in tako dela iz dneva v dan. Medtem ko čas mineva, seme raste, ne da bi se on pri tem kaj trudil. 28Zemlja je namreč vzrok, da seme požene in raste. Najprej je tu steblo, potem klas in nazadnje zrnje. 29Ko seme dozori, pride kmet s srpom in požanje.”O gorčičnem zrnu: Božje kraljestvo se začenja z malim

30Končno je Jezus vprašal: “Čemu naj še primerjam Božje kraljestvo? Kateri primer bi vam lahko pomagal, da bi laže razumeli? 31Božje kraljestvo bi rad primerjal zrnu gorčice. To je zelo majhno seme. 32Ko pa ga posejemo, hitro raste in je večje od drugih biljk. Veje mu tako ojačajo, da celo ptice lahko gnezdijo v njih.”33Jezus je pogosto uporabljal prispodobe, da bi ljudje lahko razumeli njegove govore. 34V prispodobah je govoril množici. Ko pa je bil pozneje sam s svojimi učenci, jim je razlagal pomen le-teh.
Gospodar vetra in valov
(Matej 8,23-27; Luka 8,22-25)
35Ob večeru tega dne je Jezus rekel svojim učencem: “Pridite, odpeljimo se na drugo obalo!” 36Razpustili so ljudi in odveslali v čolnu, kjer je bil tudi Jezus, čez jezero. Nekaj drugih čolnov se je prav tako namerilo na drugo stran. 37Naenkrat pa je nastal strašen vihar. Visoki valovi so premetavali čoln, ki se je napolnil z vodo in pretila je nevarnost, da se bo potopil. 38Jezus pa je spal v zadnjem delu čolna na blazini. Učenci so ga zbudili in prestrašeno zakričali: “Gospod, ali ne vidiš, da se potapljamo?” 39Jezus je takoj vstal, zapretil je vetru in zapovedal hrumečemu jezeru: “Utihni! Umiri se!” Vihar se je pomiril in zavladala je tišina. 40“Zakaj ste se tako prestrašili?” je vprašal Jezus svoje učence, “ali mi niti malo ne zaupate?” 41Presenečeno so šepetali drug drugemu: “Kakšen človek! Celo veter in valovi ga poslušajo!”

How do I do a word study?

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
