Jezus ozdravi gobavega človeka
(Marko 1,40-45; Luka 5,12-16)
1Za Jezusom je šla velika množica, ko je šel z gore. 2Tedaj je prišel gobav človek in je pokleknil pred Jezusa: “Gospod, če hočeš, me lahko ozdraviš!” 3Jezus se je dotaknil moža in rekel: “Hočem! Bodi zdrav!” Ta trenutek je gobavost izginila. 4Jezus mu je naročil: “Nikomur ne pripoveduj o ozdravljenju, temveč pojdi takoj k duhovniku, da bi te pregledal. S seboj vzemi tudi žrtev, tako kot zahteva Mojzes v zakonu, da bodo vsi videli, da te je Bog ozdravil.”Vera rimskega oficirja: “Tvoja beseda zadostuje!”

5Ko je Jezus dospel v Kafarnaum, je prišel k njemu oficir rimske čete 6in mu rekel: “Gospod! Ozdravi mojega služabnika! V postelji leži paraliziran in strašno trpi.” 7Jezus je odgovoril: “S teboj pojdem in ga ozdravim.” 8Oficir je odgovoril: “Gospod, nisem vreden, da te sprejmem v svojem domu. Če rečeš samo besedo, bo moj služabnik zdrav. 9Tudi jaz imam predpostavljene, sam pa zapovedujem tistim, ki so mi podrejeni. Če nekomu izmed njih rečem: ‘Pojdi!’ gre. Če drugemu naročim: ‘Pridi!’ pride. Če rečem svojemu služabniku: ‘Stori to!’ stori.” 10Ko je Jezus to slišal, se je zelo čudil. Obrnil se je k množici in dejal: “Verjemite mi, da take vere doslej nisem našel v Izraelu. 11Povem vam pa, da bodo prišli mnogi ljudje z vseh koncev sveta in bodo praznovali v nebesih skupaj z Abrahamom, Izakom in Jakobom praznik veselja. 12Tisti pa, ki so bili od začetka določeni za Božje kraljestvo, bodo dospeli v najhujšo temo, kjer bodo jokali in škrtali z zobmi.” 13Potem je Jezus rekel oficirju: “Lahko greš! Tako, kot si verjel, se bo zgodilo.” Od tega trenutka je bil služabnik zdrav.Mnogi so ozdraveli

14Ko je Jezus prispel na Petrov dom, je njegova tašča ležala v postelji z visoko vročino. 15Jezus jo je prijel za roko in vročina je padla. Lahko je celo vstala in stregla gostom. 16Tega večera so prinesli k Jezusu mnoge ljudi, ki so jim gospodovali hudobni duhovi. Zadostovalo je, da je spregovoril besedo in obsedeni so bili svobodni hudobnih duhov, bolni pa so ozdraveli. 17Tako se je izpolnila napoved preroka Izaije:“Naše bolečine je vzel nase
in ozdravil je naše bolezni.” ▼

18Ko je Jezus opazil, da je bila množica, ki ga je spremljala, vedno večja, je prosil učence, naj odveslajo na drugo stran jezera. 19Tedaj je prišel k njemu verski učitelj in mu dejal: “Učitelj, s teboj hočem iti, kamorkoli pojdeš!” 20Jezus mu je odgovoril: “Lisice imajo svoje brloge in ptice gnezda, Sin človekov pa nima prostora, kjer bi si odpočil.” 21Nekdo drug je prosil Jezusa: “Gospod, dovoli mi, da najprej pokopljem svojega očeta.” 22Jezus mu je odvrnil: “Pojdi zdaj z menoj in prepusti mrtve tistim, ki živijo brez Boga, da jih pokopljejo!” ▼▼V izvirniku: Pusti, naj mrtvi pokopavajo svoje mrtve.
23Potem je stopil v čoln in se s svojimi učenci odpeljal čez jezero. Vihar na jezeru

24Sredi jezera je nenadoma nastal strašen vihar, tako da so valovi butali ob čoln. Jezus pa je spal. 25Nato so ga učenci zbudili in prestrašeni kričali: “Gospod, pomagaj! Potapljamo se!” 26Jezus je odgovoril: “Zakaj se bojite? Morali bi mi bolj zaupati!” Nato je vstal ter je zapretil vetru in valovom. Vihar se je takoj pomiril in jezero je bilo povsem mirno. 27Vsi so se začudeni spraševali: “Kakšen človek! Celo veter in valovi ga poslušajo!”Sužnji dobijo svobodo
(Marko 5,1-20; Luka 8,26-39)
28Ko je Jezus s svojimi učenci na drugi strani jezera prišel v pokrajino Gadaro, sta jim pritekla nasproti dva moža, ki so jima gospodovali demoni. Stanovala sta v grobnih votlinah in sta bila tako nevarna, da se jima nihče ni upal približati. 29Začela sta kričati: “Kaj hočeš od nas, Božji Sin? Ali nas hočeš že zdaj mučiti?” 30V bližini se je pasla čreda svinj. 31Demoni so ga prosili: “Če nas že hočeš izgnati, nas pošlji v te svinje!” 32Jezus jim je zapovedal: “Odidite!” Demoni so zapustili moža in odšli v svinje. Cela čreda se je zagnala s pobočja v jezero in potonila. 33Pastirji so prestrašeni pobegnili v mesto, kjer so pripovedovali, kaj se je zgodilo, ko je Jezus osvobodil obsedenca. 34Zdaj so mnogi ljudje odšli iz mesta, da bi srečali Jezusa. Prosili so ga, naj zapusti njihovo pokrajino.

How do I do a word study?

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
