Matthew 21
Jezusa sprejmejo kot kralja
(Marko 11,1-10; Luka 19,28-38; Janez 12,12-19)
1Potem ko je Jezus prišel s svojimi učenci v bližino Jeruzalema, so se ustavili v Betfagi na Oljski gori. Jezus je poslal dva učenca naprej z nalogo: 2“Ko prispeta v vas, bosta tam našla oslico z žrebetom. Odvežita ju in pripeljita k meni. 3Če vaju bo kdo vprašal, kaj počneta, recita: ‘Gospod ju potrebuje.’ Nihče vama ne bo delal težav.” 4S tem se je izpolnila prerokova napoved:5“Povejte Jeruzalemčanom:
‘Tvoj kralj prihaja k tebi.
Ponižen jezdi na osličjem žrebetu.’ ” ▼

6Oba učenca sta storila, kakor jima je naročil Jezus. 7Pripeljala sta živali k njemu in položila nanju svoje plašče, da bi Jezus lahko jezdil. 8Mnogi so polagali svoje obleke kot preproge po cesti, drugi so trgali veje z dreves in jih polagali po poti. 9Spredaj in zadaj so se gnetli ljudje in klicali:
“Pozdravljen naš kralj, Sin Davidov.
Hvaljen bodi, ki prihajaš v imenu Gospodovem!
Naj bo hvaljen Bog!”
10Ko je tako prijezdil v Jeruzalem, je bilo vse mesto na nogah. “Kdo je ta človek?” so spraševali ljudje. 11“To je Jezus, prerok iz Nazareta v Galileji,” so klicali tisti, ki so ga spremljali.
Dolžnosti v templju
(Marko 11,15-19; Luka 19,45-46; Janez 2,13-17)
12Potem je Jezus odšel v tempelj, izgnal je vse trgovce in prodajalce in prevrnil mize menjalcem denarja in stojnice prodajalcem golobov in zaklical: 13“Bog je dejal: ‘Moj dom naj bo mesto molitve,’ ▼▼Izaija 56,7.
vi pa ste naredili iz njega razbojniški brlog!” 14Tedaj so prišli slepi in pohabljeni in on jih je ozdravil v templju. 15Ko so veliki duhovniki in verski učitelji videli njegove čudeže in ko so slišali, da so celo otroci v templju vpili: “Pozdravljen Sin Davidov!” so se razjezili in vprašali Jezusa: “Ali ne slišiš, kaj kričijo otroci?” 16“Da, slišim,” je odgovoril Jezus. “Ali niste brali: ‘Celo majhni otroci te bodo slavili!’ ▼▼Psalm 8,3.
?” 17Tako je odšel od njih, zapustil je mesto ter šel v Betanijo, da bi tam prenočil. Nerodovitna smokva: kdor veruje, doživlja čudeže

18Naslednji dan, ko se je Jezus zopet vračal v Jeruzalem, je postal lačen. 19Tedaj je zagledal ob cesti smokvo. Odšel je, da bi nabral nekaj smokev. Vendar ni našel nič drugega kot listje. Tedaj je Jezus zapretil drevesu: “Nikoli več ne boš rodilo smokev!” V tem trenutku se je drevo posušilo. 20Učenci so začudeni vprašali: “Kako je moglo drevo tako hitro usahniti?” 21Jezus je odgovoril: “Če resnično verujete in ne dvomite, ne boste delali samo podobnih stvari, kot je ta, temveč mnogo večje čudeže. Lahko boste rekli tudi tej gori: ‘Dvigni se s tega mesta in vrzi se v morje!’ in zgodilo se bo tako. 22Vse boste dobili, za kar boste prosili, če boste trdno verovali.”Vprašanje Jezusove avtoritete

23Potem je Jezus odšel v tempelj in je govoril ljudem. Veliki duhovniki in verski učitelji so ga takoj napadli z vprašanjem: “Kdo ti je dal pravico, da nastopaš na takšen način? Kdo te je pooblastil?” 24“Tudi jaz bom vam postavil vprašanje,” je odvrnil Jezus. “Če mi odgovorite, bom tudi jaz odgovoril na vaše vprašanje. 25Ali je bil Janez Krstnik Božji poslanec ali ne?” Razmišljali so: “Če rečemo: ‘Prišel je od Boga,’ nas bo vprašal, zakaj mu nismo verjeli. 26Če pa zanikamo, da ga je Bog poslal, nam bo zamerilo ljudstvo, kajti vsi so prepričani, da je bil on prerok.” 27Zato so odgovorili: “Ne vemo!” Potem je Jezus odgovoril: “Tudi jaz vam ne povem, kdo mi je dal pooblastilo.”Primer o dveh sinovih: Kdo resnično izpolnjuje Božjo voljo
28“Kaj pravite na to: Neki mož je imel dva sina. Prvemu je dejal: ‘Sin, delaj danes v našem vinogradu!’ 29‘Da, oče,’ je odgovoril. Vendar se mu ni ljubilo delati, zato ni odšel. 30Tudi drugega sina je prosil oče, da opravi delo. ‘Ne, ne bom storil tega!’ je odvrnil. Pozneje pa se je skesal in je vendarle odšel na delo. 31Kdo izmed obeh sinov je storil, kar je želel oče?” Odgovorili so: “Vsekakor drugi!” Potem jim je Jezus pojasnil, na kaj je mislil: “Vedite, da bodo prostitutke in goljufi prej prišli v Božje kraljestvo kakor vi. 32Janez Krstnik vam je pokazal pot v nebo in vas je pozval, da se obrnete k Bogu. Toda niste hoteli vedeti zanj. Prostitutke pa in goljufi so ga poslušali. Vi pa, čeprav ste vse to videli, mu niste hoteli verjeti in spremeniti življenja.”Zgodba o vinogradu

33“Poslušajte še tole zgodbo: Neki posestnik je zasadil vinograd, ga ogradil, postavil vanj stiskalnico za grozdje in zgradil čuvajnico. Potem je izročil vinograd najemnikom in odpotoval v tujino. 34Ob času trgatve je poslal svoje ljudi k najemnikom z nalogo, da mu prinesejo njegov delež. 35Najemniki pa so enega pretepli, drugega ubili in tretjega kamenjali. 36Potem je posestnik poslal druge ljudi. Tudi njim se ni godilo bolje. 37Na koncu je poslal svojega sina, ker si je mislil: Tega bodo gotovo sprejeli! 38Ko pa so najemniki videli sina, da prihaja, so rekli drug drugemu: ‘Zdaj prihaja dedič! Tega umorimo! Potem bo vinograd naš.’ 39Spodili so ga iz vinograda in ubili. 40Kaj bo posestnik storil s temi najemniki, ko se vrne?” 41Odgovorili so: “Te zločince bo pomoril, vinograd pa bo dal v najem drugim, ki mu bodo pripravljeni dati njegov delež.” 42“Prav,” je dejal Jezus, “saj piše v Pismu takole:‘Kamen, ki so ga zidarji vrgli proč,
ker so smatrali, da je neuporaben,
je zdaj postal temeljni kamen.
To, kar ste smatrali, da je nemogoče,
dela Bog pred vašimi očmi.’ ▼

43Zato vam pravim: Božje kraljestvo vam bodo vzeli in dali ljudstvu, ki je poslušno Bogu. ▼

44Vsak, kdor se spotakne ob ta kamen, se bo razletel na kose, na kogar pa ta kamen pade, ga bo zmlel v prah.” 45Ko so veliki duhovniki in farizeji opazili, da Jezus govori o njih in da so oni najemniki v njegovi zgodbi, 46bi ga najraje na mestu zgrabili. Bali pa so se ljudstva, ki je imelo Jezusa za preroka.

How do I do a word study?

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
