Psalms 37
Mwisho Wa Mwovu Na Urithi Wa Mwenye Haki
Zaburi ya Daudi.
1 aUsisumbuke kwa ajili ya watendao maovu,wala usiwaonee wivu watendao mabaya,
2 bkwa maana kama majani watanyauka mara,
kama mimea ya kijani watakufa mara.
3 cMtumaini Bwana na utende yaliyo mema;
Kaa katika nchi ukafurahie malisho salama.
4 dJifurahishe katika Bwana
naye atakupa haja za moyo wako.
5 eMkabidhi Bwana njia yako,
mtumaini yeye, naye atatenda hili:
6 fYeye atafanya haki yako ingʼae kama mapambazuko,
na hukumu ya shauri lako kama jua la adhuhuri.
7 gTulia mbele za Bwana
na umngojee kwa uvumilivu;
usisumbuke watu wanapofanikiwa katika njia zao,
wanapotekeleza mipango yao miovu.
8 hEpuka hasira na uache ghadhabu,
usihangaike: itakuongoza tu kutenda uovu.
9 iKwa maana waovu watakatiliwa mbali,
bali wale wanaomtumaini Bwana watairithi nchi.
10 jBado kitambo kidogo, nao waovu hawataonekana,
ingawa utawatafuta, hawataonekana.
11 kBali wanyenyekevu watairithi nchi
na wafurahie amani tele.
12 lWaovu hula njama dhidi ya wenye haki
na kuwasagia meno,
13 mbali Bwana huwacheka waovu,
kwa sababu anajua siku yao inakuja.
14 nWaovu huchomoa upanga
na kupinda upinde,
ili wawaangushe maskini na wahitaji,
kuwachinja wale ambao njia zao ni nyofu.
15 oLakini panga zao zitachoma mioyo yao wenyewe,
na pinde zao zitavunjwa.
16 pBora kidogo walicho nacho wenye haki
kuliko wingi wa mali wa waovu wengi;
17 qkwa maana nguvu za waovu zitavunjwa,
lakini Bwana humtegemeza mwenye haki.
18 r Bwana anazifahamu siku za wanyofu,
na urithi wao utadumu milele.
19 sSiku za maafa hawatanyauka,
siku za njaa watafurahia wingi wa vitu.
20 tLakini waovu wataangamia:
Adui za Bwana watakuwa
kama uzuri wa mashamba,
watatoweka,
watatoweka kama moshi.
21 uWaovu hukopa na hawalipi,
bali wenye haki hutoa kwa ukarimu.
22 vWale wanaobarikiwa na Bwana watairithi nchi,
bali wale anaowalaani watakatiliwa mbali.
23 wKama Bwana akipendezwa na njia ya mtu,
yeye huimarisha hatua zake,
24 xajapojikwaa, hataanguka,
kwa maana Bwana
humtegemeza kwa mkono wake.
25 yNilikuwa kijana na sasa ni mzee,
lakini sijaona kamwe wenye haki wameachwa
au watoto wao wakiombaomba chakula.
26 zWakati wote ni wakarimu na hukopesha bila masharti.
Watoto wao watabarikiwa.
27 aaAcha ubaya na utende wema,
nawe utaishi katika nchi milele.
28 abKwa kuwa Bwana huwapenda wenye haki
naye hatawaacha waaminifu wake.
Watalindwa milele,
lakini uzao wa waovu utakatiliwa mbali.
29 acWenye haki watairithi nchi,
na kuishi humo milele.
30 adKinywa cha mwenye haki hutamka hekima,
nao ulimi wake huzungumza lililo haki.
31 aeSheria ya Mungu wake imo moyoni mwake;
nyayo zake hazitelezi.
32 afWatu waovu huvizia wenye haki,
wakitafuta kuwaua;
33 aglakini Bwana hatawaacha mikononi mwao
wala hatawaacha wahukumiwe
kuwa wakosa wanaposhtakiwa.
34 ahMngojee Bwana,
na uishike njia yake.
Naye atakutukuza uirithi nchi,
waovu watakapokatiliwa mbali,
utaliona hilo.
35 aiNimemwona mtu mwovu na mkatili akistawi
kama mwerezi wa Lebanoni,
36 ajlakini alitoweka mara na hakuonekana,
ingawa nilimtafuta, hakupatikana.
37 akWatafakari watu wasio na hatia,
wachunguze watu wakamilifu,
kuna mafanikio kwa mtu apendaye amani.
38 alLakini watenda dhambi wote wataangamizwa,
mafanikio yao yatakatiliwa mbali.
39 amWokovu wa wenye haki hutoka kwa Bwana,
yeye ni ngome yao wakati wa shida.
40 an Bwana huwasaidia na kuwaokoa,
huwaokoa kutoka kwa waovu na kuwahifadhi,
kwa maana wanamkimbilia.
