1 Ang mga lahi ni Adan ay sina Set, Enosh, 2Kenan, Mahalalel, Jared, 3Enoc, Metusela, Lamec at Noe. 4Ang mga anak na lalaki ni Noe ay sina Shem, Ham at Jafet.Ang Lahi ni Jafet
5Ang mga anak na lalaki ni Jafet ay sina Gomer, Magog, Madai, Javan, Tubal, Meshec at Tiras. 6Si Gomer ay may mga anak din na lalaki na sina Ashkenaz, Rifat, ▼▼Rifat: o, Difat.
at Togarma. 7Ang mga anak na lalaki ni Javan ay sina Elisha, Tarshish, Kitim at Rodanim. ▼▼Rodanim: o, Dodanim.
Ang Lahi ni Ham
8Ang mga anak na lalaki ni Ham ay sina Cush, Mizraim, ▼▼Mizraim: o, Egipto. Tingnan sa Gen. 10:5.
Put, at Canaan. 9Si Cush ay may mga anak ding lalaki na sina Sheba, Havila, Sabta, Raama at Sabteca. Ang mga anak na lalaki ni Raama ay sina Sheba at Dedan. 10May isa pang anak si Cush na ang pangalan ay Nimrod na naging magiting na sundalo sa mundo. 11Si Mizraim ang pinagmulan ng mga Ludeo, Anameo, Lehabeo, Naftu, 12Patruseo, Caslu, at mga Caftoreo na siyang pinagmulan ng mga Filisteo.
13Si Canaan ang ama nina Sidon at Het. ▼

Si Sidon ang panganay. 14Si Canaan ang siya ring pinagmulan ng mga Jebuseo, Amoreo, Girgaseo, 15Hiveo, Arkeo, Sineo, 16Arvadeo, Zemareo at Hamateo. Ang Lahi ni Shem
17Ang mga anak na lalaki ni Shem: sina Elam, Ashur, Arfaxad, Lud at Aram. Ang mga anak na lalaki ni Aram ay sina, ▼▼Ang mga anak … sina: Hindi ito makikita sa halos karamihan ng tekstong Hebreo.

18Si Arfaxad ang ama ni Shela, at si Shela ang ama ni Eber. 19May dalawang anak na lalaki si Eber: ang isa ay pinangalanang Peleg, dahil noong panahon niya, ang mga tao sa mundo ay nagkahati-hati; ang pangalan naman ng kanyang kapatid ay Joktan. 20Si Joktan ang ama nina Almodad, Shelef, Hazarmavet, Jera, 21Hadoram, Uzal, Dikla, 22Obal, ▼▼Obal: o, Ebal.
Abimael, Sheba, 23Ofir, Havila at Jobab. Silang lahat ay anak na lalaki ni Joktan. 24 Ito ang lahi na mula kay Shem: sina Arfaxad, Shela, 25Eber, Peleg, Reu 26Serug, Nahor, Tera, 27at si Abram na siya ring si Abraham.

28Ang mga anak na lalaki ni Abraham ay sina Isaac at Ishmael. 29Ang mga anak na lalaki ni Ishmael ay sina Nebayot (ang panganay), Kedar, Adbeel, Mibsam, 30Mishma, Duma, Masa, Hadad, Tema, 31Jetur, Nafis at Kedema. Sila ang mga anak na lalaki ni Ishmael. 32Ang mga anak na lalaki ni Ketura na isa pang asawa ni Abraham ay sina Zimran, Jokshan, Medan, Midian, Ishbak at Shua. Ang mga anak na lalaki ni Jokshan ay sina Sheba at Dedan. 33Ang mga anak na lalaki ni Midian ay sina Efa, Efer, Hanoc, Abida at Eldaa. Silang lahat ang angkan ni Ketura.Ang Lahi ni Esau

43Ito ang mga hari ng Edom, noong panahon na wala pang mga hari ang mga Israelita:Si Bela na taga-Dinhaba na anak ni Beor ay naging hari sa Edom. 44Pagkamatay niya, pinalitan siya ni Jobab na anak ni Zera na taga-Bozra. 45Pagkamatay ni Jobab, pinalitan siya ni Husham na taga-Teman. 46Pagkamatay ni Husham, pinalitan siya ni Hadad na taga-Avit na anak ni Bedad. Si Hadad ang nakatalo sa mga Midianita roon sa Moab. 47Pagkamatay ni Hadad, pinalitan siya ni Samla na taga-Masreka. 48Pagkamatay ni Samla, pinalitan siya ni Shaul na taga-Rehobot na malapit sa Ilog ng Eufrates. 49Pagkamatay ni Shaul, pinalitan siya ni Baal Hanan na anak ni Acbor. 50Pagkamatay ni Baal Hanan, pinalitan siya ni Hadad na taga-Pau. Ang asawa niya ay si Mehetabel na anak ni Matred at apo ni Me-Zahab. 51Hindi nagtagal, namatay si Hadad.
Ito ang mga pinuno ng angkan ng Edom: Timna, Alva, Jetet, 52Oholibama, Elah, Pinon, 53Kenaz, Teman, Mibzar, 54Magdiel at Iram.

How do I do a word study?

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
