Ang Turo ni Jesus tungkol sa Paghihiwalay
(Mar. 10:1-12)
1Pagkatapos ipangaral ni Jesus ang mga bagay na ito, umalis siya sa Galilea at pumunta sa lalawigan ng Judea sa kabila ng Ilog ng Jordan. 2Maraming tao ang sumunod sa kanya at pinagaling niya sila sa kanilang mga sakit.3May mga Pariseong pumunta sa kanya para hanapan siya ng butas. Kaya nagtanong sila, “Pinahihintulutan ba ng Kautusan na hiwalayan ng lalaki ang asawa niya sa kahit anong dahilan?” 4Sumagot si Jesus, “Hindi ba ninyo nabasa sa Kasulatan na sa simula pa lang, nang likhain ng Dios ang mundo, ‘ginawa niya ang tao na lalaki at babae?’ ▼

5‘Dahil dito, iiwan ng lalaki ang kanyang ama at ina, at magsasama sila ng kanyang asawa. At silang dalawa ay magiging isa.’ ▼▼Gen. 2:24.
6Hindi na sila dalawa kundi isa na lang. Kaya hindi dapat paghiwalayin ng tao ang pinagsama ng Dios.” 7Nagtanong uli ang mga Pariseo, “Pero bakit sinabi ni Moises na pwedeng hiwalayan ng lalaki ang asawa niya, bastaʼt bigyan niya ito ng kasulatan ng paghihiwalay?” ▼▼Deu. 24:1.
8Sumagot si Jesus sa kanila, “Ipinahintulot ito ni Moises sa inyo dahil sa katigasan ng ulo ninyo. Ngunit hindi iyan ang layunin ng Dios mula sa simula. 9Kaya sinasabi ko sa inyo, kung hiwalayan ng lalaki ang asawa niya sa anumang dahilan maliban sa sekswal na imoralidad, at pagkatapos ay mag-asawa ng iba, nagkasala siya ng pangangalunya. [At ang nag-asawa ng babaeng hiniwalayan ay nagkasala rin ng pangangalunya.]” 10Sinabi ng mga tagasunod ni Jesus, “Kung ganyan po pala ang panuntunan sa pag-aasawa, mabuti pang huwag na lang mag-asawa.” 11Sumagot si Jesus, “Hindi matatanggap ng lahat ang turong ito, maliban na lang sa mga taong pinagkalooban nito. 12May ibaʼt ibang dahilan kung bakit ang ilan ay hindi nag-aasawa. May iba na ipinanganak na sadyang baog. Ang ibaʼy hindi makakapag-asawa dahil sinadyang kapunin. At may iba naman ay ayaw mag-asawa dahil sa pagpapahalaga nila sa kaharian ng Dios. Kung kaya ng sinuman na hindi mag-asawa, huwag na siyang mag-asawa.”
Pinagpala ni Jesus ang Maliliit na Bata
(Mar. 10:13-16; Luc. 18:15-17)
13May mga taong nagdala ng maliliit na bata kay Jesus upang ipatong niya sa mga ito ang kanyang kamay at ipanalangin. Pero sinaway sila ng mga tagasunod ni Jesus. 14Sinabi ni Jesus sa mga tagasunod niya, “Hayaan ninyong lumapit sa akin ang mga bata. Huwag ninyo silang pigilan, dahil ang mga katulad nila ay kabilang sa kaharian ng Dios.” 15Ipinatong nga niya ang kanyang kamay sa mga bata at pinagpala niya sila, at pagkatapos nito ay umalis siya.Ang Lalaking Mayaman

16May isang lalaki naman na lumapit kay Jesus at nagtanong, “Guro, ano po ba ang mabuti kong gawin upang magkaroon ng buhay na walang hanggan?” 17Sumagot si Jesus, “Bakit itinatanong mo sa akin kung ano ang mabuti? Isa lang ang mabuti, at walang iba kundi ang Dios. Kung gusto mong magkaroon ng buhay na walang hanggan, sundin mo ang mga utos.” 18“Alin po sa mga ito?” tanong ng lalaki. Sumagot si Jesus, “Huwag kang papatay, huwag kang mangangalunya, huwag kang magnanakaw, huwag kang sasaksi ng kasinungalingan, 19igalang mo ang iyong ama at ina, ▼▼Exo. 20:12-16; Deu. 5:16-20.
at mahalin mo ang kapwa mo tulad ng pagmamahal mo sa iyong sarili.” ▼▼Lev. 19:18.
20Sinabi ng binata, “Sinusunod ko po ang lahat ng iyan. Ano pa po ba ang kulang sa akin?” 21Sumagot si Jesus, “Kung nais mong maging ganap sa harap ng Dios, umuwi ka at ipagbili ang iyong mga ari-arian at ipamigay mo ang pera sa mga mahihirap. At magkakaroon ka ng kayamanan sa langit. Pagkatapos, bumalik ka at sumunod sa akin.” 22Nang marinig iyon ng binata, umalis siyang malungkot, dahil napakayaman niya. 23Kaya sinabi ni Jesus sa mga tagasunod niya, “Sinasabi ko sa inyo ang totoo, napakahirap para sa isang mayaman ang mapabilang sa kaharian ng Dios. 24Mas madali pang makapasok ang kamelyo sa butas ng karayom kaysa sa mapabilang ang isang mayaman sa kaharian ng Dios.” 25Nabigla ang mga tagasunod nang marinig nila ito, kaya nagtanong sila, “Kung ganoon po, sino na lang ang maliligtas?” 26Tiningnan sila ni Jesus at sinabi, “Imposible ito sa tao; pero sa Dios, ang lahat ay posible.” 27Nagsalita si Pedro, “Paano naman po kami? Iniwan namin ang lahat para sumunod sa inyo. Ano po ang mapapala namin?” 28Sumagot si Jesus, “Sinasabi ko sa inyo ang totoo, darating ang araw na babaguhin ng Dios ang mundo, at ako na Anak ng Tao ay uupo sa aking trono. At kayong mga tagasunod ko ay uupo rin sa 12 trono upang husgahan ▼

How do I do a word study?

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
