1ฟ้าสวรรค์เอ๋ย ฟังเถิดที่ข้าพเจ้าจะกล่าวแผ่นดินโลกเอ๋ย จงสดับวาจาจากปากของข้าพเจ้า
2ขอให้คำสอนของข้าพเจ้าพรั่งพรูลงมาดั่งฝน
และให้ถ้อยคำของข้าพเจ้าหยาดหยดมาดุจน้ำค้าง
เหมือนสายฝนโปรยปรายลงบนหญ้าอ่อน
เหมือนฝนชุ่มรินรดพืชพันธุ์เขียวสด
3ข้าพเจ้าจะประกาศพระนามของพระยาห์เวห์
ขอสดุดีความยิ่งใหญ่ของพระเจ้าของเรา!
4พระองค์ทรงเป็นพระศิลา พระราชกิจของพระองค์สมบูรณ์พร้อม
และวิถีทางของพระองค์ล้วนยุติธรรม
ทรงเป็นพระเจ้าผู้ซื่อสัตย์ผู้ไม่ทำสิ่งที่ผิดใดๆ เลย
พระองค์ทรงชอบธรรมและยุติธรรม

และด้วยน้ำมันจากหินผา
14ด้วยน้ำนมและนมข้นจากฝูงสัตว์
และด้วยแพะแกะอ้วนพี
กับแกะผู้ชั้นเยี่ยมแห่งบาชาน
และข้าวสาลีที่ดีที่สุด

19 องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าทรงเห็นเช่นนี้และทรงละทิ้งเขา
เพราะว่าบุตรชายบุตรสาวของพระองค์ทำให้พระองค์ทรงพระพิโรธ
20พระองค์ตรัสว่า “เราจะซ่อนหน้าจากพวกเขา
และดูว่าบั้นปลายของเขาจะเป็นเช่นใด
เพราะเขาเป็นคนรุ่นที่นอกลู่นอกรอย
ลูกหลานผู้ไม่ซื่อสัตย์
21เขาทำให้เราอิจฉาสิ่งที่ไม่ใช่พระ
และยั่วโทสะเราด้วยรูปเคารพอันไร้ค่า
เราจะทำให้เขาอิจฉาผู้ที่ไม่ใช่ชนชาติ
เราจะยั่วโทสะเขาด้วยประชาชาติที่ไม่มีความเข้าใจ
22เพราะโทสะของเราจุดเปลวไฟ
ซึ่งเผาถึงก้นบึ้งของแดนมรณา
ไฟนั้นจะเผาผลาญโลกและพืชผลทั้งปวง
และบันดาลให้ภูเขาทั้งหลายลุกเป็นไฟ
23“เราจะสุมหายนะลงเหนือพวกเขา
และยิงธนูเข้าใส่พวกเขา
24เราจะส่งการกันดารอาหารมาต่อสู้พวกเขา
ส่งโรคระบาดอันล้างผลาญและภัยพิบัติร้ายแรงมาเล่นงานพวกเขา
เราจะส่งเขี้ยวเล็บของสัตว์ป่ามาทำร้ายพวกเขา
ส่งพิษของงูร้ายซึ่งเลื้อยมาในผงคลี
25ตามท้องถนนมีคมดาบปลิดชีวิตลูกหลานของพวกเขา
ภายในบ้านมีความหวาดหวั่นพรั่นพรึง
ชายหนุ่มและหญิงสาวจะพินาศ
ทั้งทารกและคนสูงอายุ
26เราพูดแล้วว่าเราจะกระจายพวกเขาออกไป
และลบพวกเขาให้เลือนหายไปจากความทรงจำของมนุษยชาติ
27แต่เราหวั่นคำถากถางของศัตรู
เกรงว่าปฏิปักษ์จะเข้าใจผิด
และพูดว่า ‘มือของเราพิชิตชัยชนะ
องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าไม่ได้ทรงทำอะไรเลย’ ”
28พวกเขาเป็นชนชาติที่ไร้ความคิด
ขาดความฉลาดหลักแหลม
29ถ้าเพียงแต่พวกเขาฉลาดและเข้าใจ
และมองออกว่าบั้นปลายของตนจะเป็นเช่นใด!
30คนคนเดียวจะไล่คนเป็นพันได้อย่างไร?
หรือสองคนทำให้คนเป็นหมื่นหนีเตลิดได้อย่างไร?

32เทือกเถาของพวกเขามาจากเทือกเถาแห่งโสโดม
และจากท้องทุ่งแห่งโกโมราห์
ผลองุ่นของพวกเขาเต็มไปด้วยยาพิษ
พวงองุ่นของพวกเขามีแต่ความขมขื่น
33เหล้าองุ่นของพวกเขาคือพิษงูร้าย
เป็นพิษร้ายของงูเห่า
34“เราเก็บงำเรื่องนี้
และประทับตราเก็บไว้ในคลังของเราไม่ใช่หรือ?
35การแก้แค้นเป็นหน้าที่ของเราเอง เราจะคืนสนอง

และไม่มีใครหลงเหลืออยู่ ไม่ว่าทาสหรือไท
37พระองค์จะตรัสว่า “พระทั้งหลายของพวกเขาไปไหนเสียเล่า
ศิลาที่พวกเขาลี้ภัยไปไหนเสียแล้ว
38ไหนล่ะพระที่กินไขมันของเครื่องบูชา
และดื่มเหล้าองุ่นของเครื่องดื่มบูชาของพวกเขา?
ให้พระเหล่านั้นลุกขึ้นมาช่วยพวกเจ้าสิ!
ให้พระเหล่านั้นมาให้ที่พักพิงแก่พวกเจ้าสิ!
39“จงดูเถิด เราเองนี่แหละคือผู้นั้น!
ไม่มีพระอื่นใดนอกจากเรา
เราทำให้ตายและเราให้ชีวิต
เราทำให้บาดเจ็บและเราจะรักษาให้หาย
และไม่มีผู้ใดช่วยให้พ้นมือของเราไปได้
40เราชูมือขึ้นฟ้าและประกาศว่า
เราดำรงอยู่นิรันดร์ฉันใด
41เมื่อเราลับดาบอันวาววับของเรา
และเมื่อเรากุมการพิพากษาไว้ในมือ
เราจะแก้แค้นศัตรูของเรา
และตอบแทนผู้ที่เกลียดชังเราฉันนั้น
42เราจะทำให้ลูกศรของเราดื่มเลือดจนเมามาย
ส่วนดาบของเราจะกินเนื้อ
คือเลือดเนื้อของผู้ถูกสังหารและเชลย
ศีรษะของบรรดาผู้นำของศัตรู”

How do I do a word study?

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
