9ครั้งนั้นพระเยซูเสด็จจากเมืองนาซาเร็ธในแคว้นกาลิลี ทรงรับบัพติศมาจากยอห์นในแม่น้ำจอร์แดน 10ขณะที่พระเยซูขึ้นจากน้ำ พระองค์ทรงเห็นท้องฟ้าแหวกออกและพระวิญญาณดุจนกพิราบลงมาประทับบนพระองค์ 11แล้วมีพระสุรเสียงจากฟ้าสวรรค์ว่า “เจ้าคือลูกของเรา ผู้ที่เรารัก เราพอใจเจ้ายิ่งนัก”12ทันใดนั้นพระวิญญาณทรงส่งพระองค์ไปยังถิ่นกันดาร 13และพระองค์ทรงถูกซาตานทดลองตลอดสี่สิบวันสี่สิบคืนที่ทรงอยู่ที่นั่น พระองค์ทรงอยู่กับสัตว์ป่าและเหล่าทูตสวรรค์มาปรนนิบัติพระองค์

14หลังจากยอห์นถูกขังคุก พระเยซูเสด็จสู่แคว้นกาลิลี ทรงประกาศข่าวประเสริฐของพระเจ้า 15พระองค์ตรัสว่า “ถึงเวลาแล้ว อาณาจักรของพระเจ้ามาใกล้แล้ว จงกลับใจใหม่และเชื่อข่าวประเสริฐ!”16ขณะพระเยซูทรงดำเนินอยู่ริมทะเลสาบกาลิลี พระองค์ทรงเห็นซีโมนกับน้องชายชื่ออันดรูว์กำลังทอดแหอยู่ที่ทะเลสาบ ทั้งสองเป็นชาวประมง 17พระเยซูตรัสว่า “จงตามเรามาเถิด แล้วเราจะตั้งท่านให้เป็นผู้หาคนดั่งหาปลา” 18ทั้งสองก็ละแหติดตามพระองค์ไปทันที
19เมื่อเสด็จต่อไปอีกหน่อยก็ทรงเห็นยากอบบุตรเศเบดีกับยอห์นผู้เป็นน้องชายของยากอบกำลังชุนอวนอยู่ในเรือ 20พระองค์ทรงเรียกเขาทันทีโดยไม่รอช้า ทั้งสองก็ละเศเบดีผู้เป็นบิดาไว้ที่เรือกับลูกจ้างและติดตามพระองค์ไป
พระเยซูทรงขับไล่วิญญาณชั่ว
(ลก.4:31-37)
21พระเยซูกับสาวกมายังเมืองคาเปอรนาอุม เมื่อถึงวันสะบาโตพระองค์ทรงเข้าไปในธรรมศาลาและทรงเริ่มเทศนาสั่งสอน 22ประชาชนล้วนทึ่งในคำสอนของพระองค์ยิ่งนัก เพราะพระองค์ทรงสอนพวกเขาอย่างผู้มีสิทธิอำนาจ ผิดกับพวกธรรมาจารย์ 23ขณะนั้นชายคนหนึ่งในธรรมศาลาซึ่งถูกวิญญาณชั่ว ▼▼ภาษากรีกว่าโสโครกเช่นเดียวกับข้อ 26 และ 27

27ประชาชนล้วนประหลาดใจจนพูดกันว่า “อะไรกันนี่? เป็นคำสอนใหม่ ทั้งยังมีสิทธิอำนาจ! พระองค์ถึงขนาดสั่งวิญญาณชั่วและมันก็ทำตามคำสั่ง” 28กิตติศัพท์ของพระองค์จึงเลื่องลือไปทั่วแคว้นกาลิลีอย่างรวดเร็ว
พระเยซูทรงรักษาคนเป็นอันมาก

35ครั้นเวลาเช้ามืดพระเยซูทรงลุกขึ้นแล้วเสด็จออกจากบ้านไปยังที่สงบเงียบและอธิษฐาน 36ซีโมนกับเพื่อนๆ ออกตามหาพระองค์ 37เมื่อพบแล้วจึงร้องทูลว่า “ใครต่อใครกำลังตามหาพระองค์!”38พระเยซูตรัสตอบว่า “ให้เราไปที่อื่นๆ ในละแวกใกล้เคียงกันเถิดเพื่อเราจะได้ไปเทศนาที่นั่นด้วย ที่เรามาก็เพื่อการนี้แหละ” 39ดังนั้นพระองค์จึงเสด็จไปทั่วแคว้นกาลิลี พระองค์ทรงเทศนาในธรรมศาลาของพวกเขาและทรงขับผีออกหลายตน
พระเยซูทรงรักษาคนโรคเรื้อน

43พระเยซูทรงส่งเขาไปทันทีพร้อมกับกำชับว่า 44“จงระวัง อย่าบอกเรื่องนี้แก่ผู้ใดเลยแต่จงไปแสดงตัวต่อปุโรหิตและถวายเครื่องบูชาสำหรับการที่ท่านหายจากโรคเรื้อนตามที่โมเสสสั่งไว้ เพื่อเป็นพยานแก่คนทั้งหลายว่าท่านหายโรคแล้ว” 45แต่เขาเที่ยวป่าวประกาศเรื่องนี้ไปทั่วจนพระเยซูไม่สามารถเข้าเมืองอย่างเปิดเผยได้ แต่ประทับในที่เปลี่ยวนอกเมือง กระนั้นผู้คนจากทุกหนทุกแห่งก็ยังมาเข้าเฝ้าพระองค์

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
