1ฝ่ายพวกฟาริสีและธรรมาจารย์จากกรุงเยรูซาเล็มมาห้อมล้อมพระเยซู 2และเห็นสาวกบางคนของพระองค์รับประทานอาหารโดยไม่ได้ล้างมือซึ่งถือว่า “เป็นมลทิน” 3(พวกฟาริสีและชาวยิวทั้งปวงถือตามประเพณีที่สืบทอดจากบรรพบุรุษว่าจะไม่รับประทานอาหารจนกว่าจะได้ล้างมือตามระเบียบพิธีก่อน 4เมื่อกลับจากตลาดต้องล้างมือก่อนจะรับประทานอาหาร และยังมีธรรมเนียมอื่นๆ อีกหลายอย่าง เช่นการล้างถ้วย เหยือก และภาชนะต่างๆ ▼▼สำเนาต้นฉบับเก่าแก่บางสำเนาว่าภาชนะต่างๆและที่เอนกายรับประทานอาหาร
) 5ฉะนั้นพวกฟาริสีและธรรมาจารย์จึงทูลถามพระเยซูว่า “เหตุใดสาวกของท่านจึงไม่ทำตามธรรมเนียมของผู้อาวุโส แต่กลับรับประทานอาหารด้วยมือที่ ‘เป็นมลทิน’?”
6พระองค์ตรัสตอบว่า “อิสยาห์พูดถูกแล้วเมื่อเผยพระวจนะเกี่ยวกับคนหน้าซื่อใจคดอย่างพวกเจ้าดังที่มีคำเขียนไว้ว่า
“ ‘ประชากรเหล่านี้ยกย่องเราแต่ปาก
แต่ใจของพวกเขาห่างไกลจากเรา
7พวกเขานมัสการเราโดยเปล่าประโยชน์
คำสอนของเขาเป็นเพียงกฎเกณฑ์ที่มนุษย์สอนกันมา’ b
8พวกท่านละเลยพระบัญชาของพระเจ้าและไปยึดถือธรรมเนียมของมนุษย์”
9และพระองค์ตรัสว่า “พวกท่านมีวิธีเลี่ยงพระบัญชาของพระเจ้าไปทำตาม ▼

ธรรมเนียมของตนได้ดีจริงนะ! 10เพราะโมเสสกล่าวว่า ‘จงให้เกียรติบิดามารดาของเจ้า’ ▼ และ ‘ผู้ใดแช่งด่าบิดามารดาจะต้องมีโทษถึงตาย’ ▼ 11แต่พวกท่านบอกว่าหากใครพูดกับบิดามารดาว่า ‘สิ่งใดๆ จากข้าพเจ้าซึ่งอาจเป็นประโยชน์แก่ท่านก็คือโกระบาน’ (คือของที่ได้ถวายแด่พระเจ้าแล้ว) 12แล้วท่านจึงไม่ให้เขาทำสิ่งใดให้บิดามารดาอีกต่อไป 13ด้วยเหตุนี้ท่านจึงทำให้พระวจนะของพระเจ้าเป็นโมฆะไปโดยการยึดธรรมเนียมที่สืบทอดกันมาและพวกท่านยังทำอีกหลายอย่างในทำนองนี้” 14แล้วพระเยซูทรงเรียกฝูงชนเข้ามาหาพระองค์อีกครั้งหนึ่งและตรัสว่า “ทุกคนจงฟังและเข้าใจข้อนี้ 15ไม่มีสิ่งใดจากภายนอกที่เข้าไปในมนุษย์แล้วทำให้เขา ‘เป็นมลทิน’ แต่สิ่งที่ออกจากตัวเขาต่างหากที่ทำให้เขา ‘เป็นมลทิน’ ▼

– 17เมื่อละจากฝูงชนเข้ามาในบ้านแล้ว เหล่าสาวกมาทูลถามพระองค์เกี่ยวกับคำอุปมานี้ 18พระองค์ตรัสว่า “พวกท่านยังไม่เข้าใจอีกหรือ? ท่านไม่เห็นหรือว่าไม่มีสิ่งใดจากภายนอกที่เข้าไปในตัวคนแล้วทำให้คน ‘เป็นมลทิน’ ได้? 19เพราะมันไม่ได้เข้าไปในใจ แต่ลงไปในท้องแล้วออกจากร่างกาย” (ที่พระเยซูตรัสเช่นนี้เป็นการประกาศว่าอาหารทั้งปวง “ปราศจากมลทิน”) 20พระองค์ตรัสต่อไปว่า “สิ่งที่ออกมาจากมนุษย์ต่างหากที่ทำให้เขา ‘เป็นมลทิน’ 21เพราะที่ออกมาจากภายในจากใจคนเราคือ ความคิดชั่ว การผิดศีลธรรมทางเพศ การลักขโมย การเข่นฆ่า การล่วงประเวณี 22ความโลภ การมุ่งร้าย การฉ้อฉล ราคะตัณหา ความอิจฉา การนินทาว่าร้าย ความหยิ่งจองหอง ความโฉดเขลา 23สารพัดความชั่วนี้มาจากภายในและทำให้มนุษย์ ‘เป็นมลทิน’ ”

สิง เมื่อได้ทราบข่าวเกี่ยวกับพระองค์ก็มาหมอบกราบแทบพระบาทของพระองค์ 26หญิงผู้นี้เป็นชาวกรีกเกิดในซีเรียฟีนิเซีย นางมาทูลอ้อนวอนพระเยซูให้ทรงช่วยขับผีออกจากลูกสาวของนาง 27พระองค์ตรัสบอกนางว่า “ต้องให้ลูกๆ กินอิ่มก่อน เป็นการไม่ถูกต้องที่จะเอาอาหารของลูกโยนให้สุนัข”
28หญิงนั้นทูลว่า “จริงเจ้าข้า แต่สุนัขใต้โต๊ะยังได้กินเศษอาหารที่เหลือจากลูก”
29แล้วพระองค์จึงตรัสบอกนางว่า “ไปเถิด เพราะคำตอบของเจ้า ผีนั้นออกจากลูกสาวของเจ้าแล้ว”
30หญิงนั้นก็กลับไปบ้านและพบว่าลูกสาวนอนอยู่บนเตียงและผีนั้นได้ออกไปแล้ว

31แล้วพระเยซูเสด็จจากเขตเมืองไทระผ่านเมืองไซดอนไปตามชายฝั่งทะเลสาบกาลิลีเข้าสู่แคว้นเดคาโปลิส ▼▼คือทศบุรี
32ที่นั่นมีคนพาชายผู้หนึ่งซึ่งหูหนวกพูดเกือบไม่ได้เลย มาทูลอ้อนวอนให้ทรงวางมือบนชายผู้นั้น 33พระเยซูทรงพาเขาเลี่ยงออกไปจากฝูงชน เอานิ้วพระหัตถ์สอดเข้าไปในหูของชายผู้นั้น แล้วทรงบ้วนน้ำลายเอาไปแตะที่ลิ้นของเขา 34พระองค์ทรงเงยพระพักตร์มองฟ้าสวรรค์ ถอนพระทัยยาว และตรัสกับเขาว่า “เอฟฟาธา!” (ซึ่งแปลว่า “จงเปิดออก!”) 35แล้วหูของชายคนนั้นก็หายหนวก ลิ้นของเขาก็หายขัด เขาเริ่มพูดได้ชัดเจน
36พระเยซูทรงกำชับพวกเขาไม่ให้เล่าเรื่องนี้แก่ใคร แต่ยิ่งพระองค์ทรงห้ามพวกเขาก็ยิ่งเล่าลือเรื่องนี้ไปทั่ว 37ประชาชนประหลาดใจยิ่งนักและพูดว่า “พระองค์ทรงกระทำแต่สิ่งดีๆ ทั้งนั้น พระองค์ถึงกับทรงกระทำให้คนหูหนวกได้ยินและคนใบ้พูดได้”

How do I do a word study?

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
