Dòng Dõi Khác của Giu-đa
1Con cháu của Giu-đa là Phê-rết, Hết-rôn, Cát-mi, Hu-rơ, và Sô-banh.2Rê-a-gia, con trai của Sô-banh, sinh Gia-hát. Gia-hát sinh A-hu-mai và La-hát. Đó là các gia tộc của người Xô-ra-tít.
3Dòng dõi của Ê-tam là Gít-re-ên, Dít-ma, Di-ba, và em gái của họ là Ha-sê-lê-bô-ni, 4Phê-nu-ên (tổ phụ của Ghê-đô), và Ê-xe (tổ phụ của Hu-sa). Những người này là hậu tự của Hu-rơ (trưởng nam của Ê-phơ-rát), tổ phụ của Bết-lê-hem.

9Gia-bê được trọng hơn các anh em. Mẹ người đặt tên là Gia-bê vì nói rằng: “Ta sinh nó với nhiều đau đớn.” 10Gia-bê cầu nguyện với Đức Chúa Trời của Ít-ra-ên: “Xin Chúa ban phước lành cho con, mở rộng biên cương, phù hộ con trong mọi công việc con làm, và giữ gìn con khỏi mọi điều ác, đừng để điều ác gây buồn thảm cho con!” Đức Chúa Trời nhậm lời cầu nguyện của Gia-bê. 11Kê-lúp (em Su-ha) sinh Mê-hia. Mê-hia sinh Ê-tôn. 12Ê-tôn sinh Ra-pha, Pha-sê-a, và Tê-hi-na. Tê-hi-na sinh I-na-hách. Đây là những người thuộc dòng họ Rê-ca.
13Con trai của Kê-na là Ốt-ni-ên và Sê-ra-gia. Con trai của Ốt-ni-ên là Ha-thát và Mê-ô-nô-thai. 14Mê-ô-nô-thai sinh Óp-ra. Sê-ra-gia sinh Giô-áp, sáng lập vùng Ghê Ha-ra-shim, dân cư vùng này đều làm nghề thủ công.
15Con trai của Ca-lép, cháu Giê-phu-nê là Y-ru, Ê-la, và Na-am. Con trai của Ê-la là Kê-na.
16Con trai của Giê-ha-lê-le là Xíp, Xi-pha, Thi-ria, và A-sê-rên.
17Con trai của Ê-xơ-ra là Giê-the, Mê-rết, Ê-phe, và Gia-lôn. 21Sê-la là một trong những con trai của Giu-đa. 27Si-mê-i sinh mười sáu con trai và sáu con gái, nhưng anh em ông không ai có nhiều con. Trước kia một số hậu tự của Cham sinh sống ở vùng đất ấy. 41Đời Vua Ê-xê-chia, nước Giu-đa, các tộc trưởng của Si-mê-ôn tấn công vào xứ ấy, phá đổ nhà cửa, nông trại, tàn sát dòng dõi Cham và những người Mê-u-nim, và chiếm cứ cả xứ. 42Về sau, 500 người thuộc nhóm các tộc trưởng người Si-mê-ôn này lại tiến lên Núi Sê-i-rơ, dưới quyền lãnh đạo của Phê-la-tia, Nê-a-ria, Rê-pha-gia, và U-xi-ên, tất cả đều là con trai của Di-si. 43Họ tiêu diệt những người A-ma-léc còn sống sót, và định cư tại đó cho đến ngày nay.

How do I do a word study?

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
