Chúa Giê-xu Sai Mười Hai Sứ Đồ Đi Ra
1Chúa Giê-xu gọi mười hai sứ đồ đến gần, cho họ quyền năng đuổi quỷ và chữa bệnh. 2Đây là tên mười hai sứ đồ: Đầu tiên là Si-môn (còn gọi là Phi-e-rơ),Kế đến là Anh-rê (em Si-môn),
Gia-cơ (con Xê-bê-đê),
Giăng (em Gia-cơ),
3 Phi-líp,
Ba-thê-lê-my,
Thô-ma,
Ma-thi-ơ (người thu thuế),
Gia-cơ (con An-phê),
Tha-đê,
4 Si-môn (đảng viên Xê-lốt),
Giu-đa Ích-ca-ri-ốt (người phản Chúa sau này).
5Chúa Giê-xu sai mười hai sứ đồ lên đường và căn dặn: “Đừng đi đến các Dân Ngoại hoặc vào các thành của người Sa-ma-ri, 6nhưng trước hết hãy đi tìm các con chiên thất lạc của nhà Ít-ra-ên. 7Hãy đi và loan báo cho họ biết Nước Trời đã đến gần. 8Hãy chữa lành bệnh tật, trị chứng phong hủi, khiến người chết sống lại, đuổi quỷ khỏi người bị ám. Hãy ban tặng như các con đã được ban tặng. 9Đừng mang theo vàng, bạc, hoặc tiền đồng trong thắt lưng, 10đừng mang túi hành trang. Đừng mang thêm áo choàng, giày dép, cũng đừng cầm gậy đi đường, vì các con sẽ được người ta săn sóc, tiếp đãi. 11Khi vào thành phố hay xã thôn nào, nên tìm đến nhà người chân thành xứng đáng, ở lại đó cho đến khi đi nơi khác. 12Khi xin phép ở lại, phải tỏ tình thân thiện. 13Nếu thấy họ xứng đáng, các con cầu phước lành cho họ; nếu không, phước lành sẽ trở về các con. 14Nếu nhà nào hay thành nào không tiếp rước, không nghe lời các con, cứ giũ áo ra đi để chứng tỏ các con không còn chịu trách nhiệm về số phận của họ. 15Ta nói quả quyết, đến ngày phán xét, các thành gian ác như Sô-đôm và Gô-mô-rơ còn có thể dung thứ hơn thành ấy. 16Này, Ta sai các con đi như chiên vào giữa bầy muông sói. Phải thận trọng như rắn và hiền lành như bồ câu! 17Phải đề phòng! Người ta sẽ bắt giải các con ra tòa, đánh đập các con giữa hội đường. 18Vì Ta, họ sẽ giải các con đến trước mặt các vua và các tổng trấn. Đó là cơ hội để các con nói về Ta cho họ và cho các Dân Ngoại. 19Khi bị đưa ra tòa, đừng lo phải nói những gì, vì đúng lúc, Đức Chúa Trời sẽ cho các con những lời đối đáp thích hợp. 20Lúc ấy không phải các con nói nữa, nhưng chính Thánh Linh của Cha các con trên trời sẽ nói qua môi miệng các con. 21Anh sẽ phản bội, đem nộp em cho người ta giết. Cha sẽ nộp con. Con cái sẽ phản nghịch, đưa cha mẹ vào chỗ chết. 22Mọi người sẽ ganh ghét các con, vì các con là môn đệ Ta. Ai nhẫn nhục chịu đựng cho đến cuối cùng sẽ được cứu. 23Nếu các con bị bức hại trong thành này, nên trốn qua thành khác. Trước khi các con đi khắp các thành của Ít-ra-ên, Con Người đã đến rồi. 24Môn đệ không hơn thầy, và đầy tớ không hơn chủ. 25Cùng lắm, môn đệ chịu khổ nhục bằng thầy, đầy tớ bị hành hạ bằng chủ. Người ta dám gọi Ta là quỷ vương, còn có tên xấu nào họ chẳng đem gán cho các con! 26Đừng sợ họ, vì chẳng có gì che giấu mãi; tất cả các bí mật đều sẽ được công bố cho mọi người. 27Những điều Ta dạy các con ban đêm, nên nói lớn giữa ban ngày; những lời Ta thì thầm bên tai, cứ loan báo cho mọi người biết. 28Đừng sợ những người muốn giết hại các con vì họ chỉ có thể giết thể xác, mà không giết được linh hồn. Phải sợ Đức Chúa Trời, vì Ngài có quyền hủy diệt cả thể xác và linh hồn trong hỏa ngục. 29Hai con chim sẻ chỉ bán một xu, nhưng nếu Cha các con không cho phép, chẳng một con nào rơi xuống đất. 30Ngài biết cả số tóc trên đầu các con nữa. 31Vậy, đừng lo sợ, vì các con quý hơn chim sẻ. 32Ai công khai xưng mình là môn đệ Ta, Ta cũng sẽ công nhận họ trước mặt Cha Ta trên trời. 33Còn ai công khai chối bỏ Ta, Ta cũng chối bỏ họ trước mặt Cha Ta trên trời. 34Đừng tưởng Ta đến để đem hòa bình cho thế giới! Không, Ta không đem hòa bình, nhưng đem gươm giáo.
35 ‘Ta đến để phân rẽ con trai với cha,
con gái với mẹ,
con dâu với mẹ chồng.
36 Kẻ thù không ở đâu xa, nhưng ở ngay trong nhà!’ ▼
37Nếu các con yêu cha mẹ hơn Ta, các con không đáng làm môn đệ Ta. Ai yêu con trai, con gái mình hơn Ta cũng không đáng làm môn đệ Ta. 38Nếu các con không vác cây thập tự mình theo Ta, các con không đáng làm môn đệ Ta. 39Ai tham sống sợ chết sẽ mất mạng, nhưng ai hy sinh tính mạng vì Ta, sẽ được sống.” 40“Ai tiếp rước các con là tiếp rước Ta. Ai tiếp rước Ta là tiếp rước Cha Ta, Đấng sai Ta đến. 41Nếu các con tiếp rước một nhà tiên tri vì tôn trọng người của Đức Chúa Trời, các con sẽ nhận phần thưởng như nhà tiên tri. Nếu các con tiếp rước một người công chính vì tôn trọng đức công chính, các con sẽ nhận phần thưởng như người công chính. 42Nếu các con cho một người hèn mọn này uống một chén nước lạnh vì người ấy là môn đệ Ta, chắc chắn các con sẽ được tưởng thưởng.”

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
